Review: I had a very horrible experience before hiring Ship Your Car Now. I hired Guardian Express and was given a cost half to what Ship your car now was charging. Clearly don't go the cheapest rate... cuz it will cost ya!
Whilst in the midst of fighting with Guardian, I received a call from Kevin with Ship Your Car now, (no longer with the company). I asked him to give me a few days as I was fighting with Guardian to get my money back. AND as of today, I still AM!
When Guardian fell through adn being my first transportation event, I was extremely leary, extremely leary, I repeat to hire ANYONE!
I received a call from Miah. She explained the whole detail adn I began to shut her down. No, Miah, just cancel it. I've got money tied up with this other company, blah blah blah. Well, ma'am would you just like to listen, the price I believe has changed since you last spoke to us. Sigh, ok, what? Well the cost went down a hundred bucks and so did the deposit. I woudl only have to put up one hundred dollars. After just loosing $200 with Guardian, I was still very skeptical, but agreed to it... its only another hundred right. She sounds convincing. if it falls through, it won't kill me.
Well she assured me, I would receive communciaiton from the company and the driver (this was part of Guardian's issue), and that everythign will be okay.
Sure enough I wasn't off the phone with her 30 minutes, when the actually transportation company called, just to touch base and to let me know that the driver will be calling me adn the truck is scheduled to be picked up TOMORROW!
Sure enough the driver called, said he is ahead of schedule and will be able to get to me earlier than planned. He called again a couple of times, just to keep in touch of his location, and when he finally arrived was quite friendly and very good at customer service. he called me about 30 minutes after picking up the vehicle to let me know that as he was doign a strap check he noticed one ding on the top of the truck that he failed to point out when we did the walk through. He even texted me a pictrue!
The vehicle was scheduled to arrive to my son, in virigina on Saturday, and he communicated a few times over the next couple of days with him. Te truck was dropped off a DAY earlier than planned!
I have NO complaints with the company that Ship your car now has used. They ended up using a company called Coast to Coast transportation - so be sure to request them! THEY WERE AWESOME! Ive been recommending both to everyone!
