Bob Turner at Amerifrieght was very knowledgeable and understanding of our situation as a military family moving cross country. Two weeks after our initial bid to get our car shipped, we had to raise the bid by $150. Fine, whatever. Within 24 hours of raising the bid, our Jeep was picked up to go cross country from Florida to California.

On the pick-up side of it, the driver seemed very polite and knowledgeable, did a thorough look around the Jeep to inspect for per-existing damage, and maneuvered it onto the truck relatively quickly. We were told that it would arrive on Sunday (was picked up Wednesday morning). Saturday I call the company to see where the car is and if it is still scheduled to arrive the next day and I was told that the truck broke down in Texas. The new arrival date is Tuesday. (I'm okay with that; these things happen and I wasn't going to be there to drive the vehicle for another week anyway.) On Tuesday afternoon, when the Jeep was delivered, my friend was told that it was late, not because the truck broke down, but rather because the driver had been arrested. I would've appreciated knowing that rather than being told a lie. Overall, my Jeep made it to California with no damages but I would've appreciated honesty from the trucking company even if it isn't flattering to them.

While my experience with Bob was great, the experience with that particular trucking company they contracted to ship our car leaves me a little wary.
