It was a so-so experience.

I gave UFA a 10 day window to find someone to pick up the truck. My husband was getting out of the military in Watertown, NY and the truck was going to be dropped off in Tampa, FL.I wanted this company because they weren't charging me over $1000 to get it to FL, but it also wasn't one of the cheapest ones either. Emma made sure to read my e-mails but never answered my calls. I had about 3 different people who I was in contact with because they kept switching. When Guy called saying he found someone to take my truck, it was awesome news.... BUT, the driver wanted an extra $100 bucks AND instead of picking my truck up in Watertown, I would have to drive 1.5 hours to Utica to drop it off! I told Guy that was not an option and I won't pay a penny more than what the contract stated. (I still had a good 5 days left for someone to pick up the vehicle) Guy called back and said the driver wants $50 and I still have to drive to Utica, but instead of increasing my quote, the $50 will come out of the deposit for UFA. That was fine. The part I hated was the driver himself. His name is Vlad and his partner (who speaks NO english) is Igor. Tampa is a major area for truck drivers. I had no problem getting a vehicle picked up in BRANDON, FL, but for some reason Vlad didn't want to go anywhere near the city limits... so I had to drive another 1.5 HOURS to get my truck. These people obviously have no confidence in driving because there are car transports all over the place in Tampa! I had no problem with UFA, my only problem came from the drivers! INCOMPETENT!!!! My advice is to make sure you have a WIDE open window so you can negotiate with the DRIVER! That way it is easier for you to deny them and find another one. Just be careful, and make sure you are able to contact the driver BEFORE UFA changes your contract so you can be sure they even speak your first language!
