I chose Viking because it gave the lowest rate. I read from others' review that they are known for been late. So I scheduled the pick up date 7 days before I left for a trip. My car was never picked up. I wasn't in a serious rush, but I canceled the order because their credibility was really questionable. I understand that they are just brokers without trucks and have no control over the carriers. But they should just be honest. What I couldn't stand was that Tony keep telling me that "the trunk will be there tomorrow/a bit later/in 48 hours/this weekend/". I went to school in Illinois but I don't live here. So I didn't have any family or neighbor there. It was really a pain in the ass that I had to waste time on my trip to coordinate everything. As many other customers, I never got my refund. Instead, I was double billed. Initially Tony said it was Friday and their accounting department was not working. Then he said the message was already forwarded to accounting department. I have never got refund, so I decided to let my credit card company to deal with it. When I cancelled my order I received the exact same message(see following) twice. I think that they have many excuse templates and just switch between them to fool you around.

"Our Dispatchers are working diligently in finding you a truck. . But before you cancel we would recommend that you have the actual driver carrier secured and committed in picking up your vehicle. Since canceling with a Broker such as Viking and booking with another broker will not improve your situation of getting your car picked up, since we all work with the same network of trucks thru different load boards."

I have read many good reviews about them too. So I would like to believe that they actually do good jobs some times. But I would not take the risk next time when I need to move my vehicle.

Mr Jing we at Viking Auto regret that your car was not picked up on a timely manner. You did not mention in your review that we provided you with three different prices to move your car, and you chose the least expensive, it as explained to you that the price that you were choosing was the cheapest, so your car was last in line, since there were other cars paying more to drivers. Tony explained all this to you at the beginning, but you still chose the least expensive way, that usually takes longer to pick up the vehicle. If you could have waited two more days we had a driver for you confirmed to pick up your vehicle. But when we spoke to you, you told us that you did not wish to wait that you would make other arrangements. Again we emphasize that Viking did not lie to you or gave you the run around on the contrary. And your deposit has been refunded in full. Richard H.
