| First time ever shipping a car |
This was my very first time shipping a car. I was uncomfortable with the idea of hiring someone to transport my car from Miami, FL to Sacramento, CA. I was astounded at the wonderful service I received from Safe-Direct Car shipping.
I called two weeks prior to my car needing to be shipped. I knew it was probably a long shot, but I called. The person that I spoke to was David. He assured me that he could find someone to ship my vehicle in the short time frame that I needed for the pickup. I felt at ease and very comfortable in calling David. Whenever I had questions he was available either by e-mail or by phone. There wasn't a time that he did not respond to me promptly with my million and one questions. He was very honest with me about how the transport service worked, his description reminded me of ebay. There were no price hikes or surprises at the end. My pickup was to take place between the 7th and the 11th of May I couldn't go beyond those dates because my flight was already scheduled. I was contacted by Dave that the car was going to be picked up on the 8th. True to his word, a gentleman came and got the car on a flatbed and towed it away. The gentleman was efficient and friendly. The ETA of my car was supposed to be 7-14 days. This was definitely not the case. I received a call from Edgar (the gentleman who was transporting my vehicle), and was told that he would be at my final destination on the 14th. I couldn't believe it. I was still in Miami, and wasn't scheduled to fly out until May 15th. I was ecstatic. My sister was able to receive my car in my stead for the exact amount that was previously agreed upon, and I had a car the moment I landed in California. This was definitely a no stress situation.
I would definitely recommend their services to all who are in need of a reliable, professional, and friendly transport service.
Did I mention that I called only two weeks prior to my need of the transport.
