|This was my first time shipping a car and I had a lot of questions about the process, which Ed answered in full and with a lot of patience. The whole process went exactly as he told me it would and there were no surprises when it came to how much I was being charged, which was exactly what they quoted me from day 1. Furthermore, I got quotes from six other companies and Get It Done's quote was the best one I received from a 5 star rated company.
Ed let me know that I could ship my car a few days early as there was a driver in my area and that the West to East coast route was a little backed up so the car would probably not get shipped in the time frame we had originally discussed. However he was very understanding of my preference to wait until I was certain to be available to accept delivery in MA and totally honest about the delay that would result by not shipping the car earlier. There was a small glitch in communication when Ed was called out of the office due to a family emergency, but the alternate contact, Kat, was very understanding and apologetic for the incident that arose and I felt completely reassured that I was being taken care of. Ed kept in touch and was able to secure a driver for my car within a week of the first available date I had set for pick up of my car. I was given all the requisite information on the transport company that was driving my car and I knew my car was in good hands. Both Ed and the driver were receptive to my phone calls with questions about the expected delivery date and how delivery would be handled.
I'd like to reiterate that the reason pick up was delayed a week past the first available date was because of my preferences and their willingness to work around my schedule. Not once did I feel pressured to arrange for pick up so that Get It Done could take their cut and get me out of their hair. Instead, I dealt with two people in the company who took my calls, answered my questions, and made sure that my car was in the best hands possible and that I felt 100 percent comfortable throughout the entire process. If I ever ship a car again, I will be calling Get It Done and no one else.
