Do not use these people. They are not honest. They gave us a quote of $460 TOTAL. They told me (repeatedly) in emails that the price WOULD NOT CHANGE. When I asked if there were any other charges that I could be charged, they said (in big, red letters) "NO!". The car was picked up late. They NEVER contacted us, and it was only when my son contacted them a week later, we found out that a) the car had been picked up; and b) it was going to cost $230. They were supposed to contact us FIRST to let us know if they couldn't get someone at the price they quoted us. They didn't. When I emailed them, they never responed. (surprise, surprise!). In one of his lovely emails, Harvey told me that 1) they've been in business 24 years (lie!); 2) they've never overcharged anyone (lie!); 3) if I was dissatisfied, they would do whatever it took to make things right (BIG, FAT LIE!). I had the "pleasure" of taking to Sam today. Before he hung up on me, he laughed when I told him that I'd filed a claim with is bonding agency, and that's I'd filed a complaint against Tristar with the PUCO; then told me to learn how to read (the contract, I'm assuming). These guys are first-rate scam artists, I'll give them that. It is unfortunate that my son (and many like him) are fighting here and overseas, putting their lives on the line daily, to for the rights of scumbags like this.

A note of interest - here is one of "Harvey's actual emails to me:

Lisa, you will receive the contract stating the charges will be $470, that's my quote. The $175 will be deducted from the $470, leaving a $295 balance that has to be paid to the driver. In 24 years, we have never overcharged even 1 customer. You have my word that I will make sure that you're satisfied."

Gee, thanks, Harvey. Your word and $1.29 will get me a cup of coffee at McDonald's.

The customer was fully aware of the contract and terms and conditions, she signed the contract and knew what she could expect. I guess that she has to complain since she agreed to the contract completely.
