Subject: End Result Was Good
Review:I purchased a car online and employed D2D to ship my new vehicle from FL to CO. This was my first experience with shipping a car across the country. D2D had told me it would be picked up on X day after my purchase. After a few days of not hearing anything, I called the trucking company D2D had referred the deal to. They told me that they never said pickup would be on X day and promised it would be picked up on Y day. It ended up being picked up one day after Y day. On the way out to CO, the semi carrying my car broke down which added an extra two days to the trip. The end result was me getting an undamaged car which was good. I wish that D2D and the trucking company would have had better internal communication as well as better communication with me, the consumer. After I paid D2D the $95 deposit, I never heard from them again. I had to call the trucking company first (I think they should've called me after they receveived the order). These two things are what disappointed me the most. In summary, I would say add a few days to when you think you'll be receiving your vehicle and stay on top of the trucking company who's bringing it to you.
