| Wow - totally surprised. |
I'll be honest, after reading several horror stories on numerous forums I was scared to schedule a car transport. I read that brokers could not be trusted and it's better to ship your car directly with a trucking company. I found Door-to-Door via the reviews on this site, but wasn't sure if all the comments were legit. Not to mention Door-to-Door offered me the cheapest quote of any company I looked up. Luckily for me, every aspect of the transaction (from initial phone to delivery) was smooth and painless.
I called their main number and Jr picked up. My conversation lasted maybe 5-10 minutes, it was quick and to the point. I was pleasantly surprised when he said the car would be picked up in 2 days (I called on the weekend and the car was picked up Monday). Again, I thought this was an exaggeration, I was wholly prepared for a late pickup and delivery. Sure enough the driver called the day before to schedule the delivery. I even changed times with the driver a few hours before the pickup and he was more than accommodating. Furthermore, while I was expecting a week in transit, the car was in my hands in 36 hours and in perfect condition.
I'm tempted to say I lucked out, but I feel these guys know what they're doing. Heavily recommended, you car is in great hands.
