After reading reviews on here, I decided the best way to ship my car was to give plenty of notice to the drivers to make it easier to be picked up. So I contacted United Routes after reading their positive reviews. I gave them a 2 in a half week window that the vehicle could be picked up in and I gave them a total of four weeks notice. I was told by David that my vehicle would be picked up within the first few days of my first week and that I would be contacted by the driver. Well, Thursday rolls around and still no vehicle pick up, so I had to call David myself to find out what was going on. He informs me that the truck driver called me, but I didn't answer so they skipped me. I did not have a voicemail or a call back number for this individual and David never bothered to call me to inform me of the situation. At this point I should have walked away, but I didn't want to try and find a company with only 2 weeks left to ship. So I stayed and David promised me that he had a truck for me. The following week I called David again to find out the status of my vehicle and he assured me a driver would contact me thusday night or friday morning to let me know when my vehicle would be picked up; they did not. So Friday Morning I called David and once again he said he talked to the driver and there shouldn't be a problem, but he would call the driver and check again for me (this was at 8 am). At about 2 in the afternoon, some other sales associate named Raul from the company called me to tell me that the truck had backed out and that David would no longer be handling my order. I immediately told him to cancel my order and expressed how angry I was. I contacted Domestic Auto Transport and they told me they would find me a truck, but since it was short notice, it was going to be more expensive. So on Saturday Domestic called to tell me that United Routes hadn't removed my name from their board and my vehicle couldn't be picked up since it was scheduled by two companies. I called David and Raul and neither answered their phones. I had to click through every name on the menu until I came to a woman named Sheila, who answered her phone. She was very helpful in removing my name from the system and was extremely apologetic for her company. Overall my experience with this company was terrible from beginning to end. If you need to ship your car, ship with Domestic Auto Transport. Do not waste your time with this company
