Overall my experience moving 2 vehicles with Classic Auto Express was satisfactory: the cars were moved very professionally with no damage. However the timing of transport did not go exactly as I had planned, and costs were higher than quoted.
In moving the two cars from Austin to Seattle, I had quoted & arranged to have them shipped seperately (the first a week early so it would be there when I arrived, the second after I left) so I could use one car on each end without renting a car.
However, the first car sat for 7 days before being picked up, so it could not make it to WA in time for my arrival. When Classic called me to arrange pick up, she said they wanted to take both cars on the same truck (meaning the second car was leaving early), and it would be $165 more than originally quoted ($1825 instead of $1660). I did agree to this change since at that point there was no chance my first car could arrive with me and it seemed to make sense to deliver them both asap without having to worry that my second car make take another week or so to get picked up. However this meant I needed to borrow a car in Austin for 2 days, then rent a car in Seattle, further driving up the total cost to me of relocating the cars.
I have learned through this experience that due to the uncertainty of the pick up and delivery times it was probably impossible to schedule the two car move exactly as I had planned (with one car being ready for me on each end). So I think that Classic did their best to try to accommodate my needs, though I wish they could have covered the price change.
