I feel Magic Carpet transporter service, unfortunately was not very forthcoming regarding the quote or payment arrangements. I was originally quoted $926 over the phone, with an opportunity to find a lower rate from a 4 or 5 star rated competitor company. I found a lower rate of $775 from Best Transporter (a 4-star rated company) however, this rate was not honored by Magic Carpet Transporter. It is a little frustrating when a company says they will match a competitor's rate, and they fail to do so. Additionally, I was actually billed $976, not $926 as originally quoted to me. When I called Tony Quinn the Magic Carpet rep, he stated that I would receive $50 back only if I completed a review of the company online. I didn't appreciate not being told what the actual rate was upfront, nor getting my hopes up for a lower rate that they had no intention of giving me. Nonetheless, the carrier they used, Eurostar Transporters, was AWESOME. The driver was very friendly and delivered my vehicle in excellent condition earlier than scheduled.

I am sorry you don't feel that we honored the low quote that we matched. We discussed our price match policy in length prior to placing your order and you knew that we would work our hardest to get your car picked up for the low quote, but if we didn't get any takers after 5 days, we would then put it back to our original quote. Seeing that we don't get paid until your car gets picked up, it only makes sense that we get your car picked up as soon as possible. You read reviews on here all the time that when people get 10 quotes and choose the lowest one, because it's the cheapest, it usually doesn't end well. The same can be said in this situation. The price was too low and no trucks wanted to pick it up. You then called and pushed up your pick up date and we put the quote up to the original amount and then 2 days later, we had a driver for you and it was delivered a day earlier than your requested delivery date.
