Direct Express delivered absolutely flawless service recently, far exceeding what I expected. I had gotten a few quotes, and Direct Express was the most expensive by $100 or so, but I went ahead with them because of their absolutely stellar reviews on this site - and certainly got more than what I paid for. Put it this way, 11am on the THIRD DAY after I said my car was ready to be PICKED UP, the car was DELIVERED - and West Palm Beach, Florida to Boston isn't a short route (though I do admit a popular one).
Here's my entire experience:
Thurs. March 4, 5pm: Placed my order, said car was ready to ship the following monday, 3/8
Friday March 5: got emailed, told my car had been assigned a carrier. I emailed Direct Express asking if I had to tip the driver, they replied within a couple hours, said only if I wanted to. Very quick responses to inquiries
Monday March 8, first day car ready to be picked up, 11am: Car picked up
Thursday March 11, 11am: Car delivered in perfect condition (slightly dirtier but I mean, heck it's been flying up I-95 for a couple days and i certainly wasn't gonna pay for a closed truck)
So everything, order to delivery, was a week, and the car traveled 1500 miles.
Drivers called to schedule pickup and dropoff the night before. No unnecessary hassle from Direct Express, just one confirmation of order email, and one email telling me my car had a truck.
Paid Direct Express $150 for their service, Devnic Transport $475 for transport. Also a big Thank you! to Devnic Transport - - VERY friendly, helpful driver!! Car picked up from my mom, she tells me they were incredibly nice and courteous.
Whenever I ship again, I will go directly to Direct Express, no second thoughts. Thanks a lot guys!!!!!
