The experience I had with All State and the carrier that picked up my car was excellent, and Hector was quick, straight and went above and beyond to accomodate getting my car from Traverse City, Michigan to Naples, Florida. Not only did Hector find a covered carrier for my car, but he also reduced the deposit price to make the deal happen for the cost of the original estimate. My car was picked up by Jamie from Quest Auto Transport (in Michigan) and we stayed in communication for the entire trip. Jamie was great to work wth and I highly recommend both Hector and him if you need a car hauled from Michigan. I have absolutely no complaints and am completely satisfied that this is a company that will work to make it work.

After talking with a lot of companies about getting my car hauled and reading various complaints, I would add a few suggestions to anyone looking for someone to transport their vehicle.

1) Be flexible with the driver's schedule and be prepared if the driver needs to come a day early or a day later - they're going to have to have a full load of cars before they can hit the road. Same flexibility going in with delivery date.

2) Pay in cash.

3) Read reviews on any company before choosing one.

4) Don't let a broker put your car on the national board before you have a contract. If you choose a different broker, they won't be able to post your car until the original post is removed.

5) Verbally confirm the price with the driver and shake on it.

6) Take pictures of your car as it's being loaded and show the driver where any/all damage. That way you both know.
