I continue my review (see 12/19/2009) since there was a claim for damages. On 12/22/09, I started the claims process after informing Gina Swift who emailed me the required forms. After 39 days, 3/02/2010, I received a check. The process seemed slow because of estimator error and redo of paperwork. Once accepted, 01/11/2010, I was told a 30 day processing period was necessary. So, after 30 business days or on 02/24/10, I called Zach Patterson who expedited a 2/24 cut and 2/25 check mailing. Now, with the dings repaired, I upgrade my customer service rating to outstanding. Due to delivery being 8 days late, my overall rating of 3-stars stays fixed. Yes, I’d use DAS again but with a few caveats: pay the expedite rate, make the DAS drop off driver wait to clean the car before inspection, be as thorough as the pick up inspector who documented wax swirl marks.
