I contacted Parker to move a 79 convertible VW Bug from AZ to PA. Joanne did an excellent job of organizing the move and working to get my car put in the best position on the truck to ensure it was not damaged on the open carrier. This worked well.
I was hoping to have an owner do the shipping, however, while PArker is based in AZ, they do not cover the lane to PA themselves, but use a subcontractor. In this case, it was Quicksilver Transportation. They appear to have handled the car well with no damage. I set the contract up for the car to be delivered after a specific date, and the only hitch was that Quicksilver tried to deliver 2-3 days early. They quiclkly resolved the issue with no further hic-cups. Joanne at Parker helped me resolve this.
Parker was not the least expensive quote I received, but she appeared to be the most knowledgable, always answered her phone and email promptly, and resolved the issues quickly. I would recommend using them to others.
