Subject: Worst Experience EVER.
Review:Read and Beware.

On 6/8/09 I contacted Blue Knight to ship my vehicle from NJ to AZ. I also paid for it at that time via a check. They stated they did not take credit cards. Though this was odd I was assured this was to save me money, Boy was this a nightmare.

The ship date was supposed to be for june 29th-30th and i was absolutely assured on the phone that this would not be a problem at all. In fact, it was never in doubt. However, the contract did state that nothing was absolutely guaranteed. However, in good faith I assumed they would keep up what they told me on the phone was the truth. This would not be the case.

I moved to AZ June 30th and expected a vehicle arrival date about 2 weeks after the ship date time. Since I did not have a vehicle during this period I made arrangements (at cost to me) to rent a car for that period. Blue knight called me to let me know, and i QUOTE "the driver is a little delayed so he wont be there till monday". Ok, no problem, things happen. I made arrangements for friends to be avaliable to sign for the driver when he arrived on monday. Monday came and I did not even get a call from blue knight. So on tuesday I called them again to ask what had happened. I was told that the driver was still late and to expect them to arrive on thursday or friday at they very latest. Again, I figured this could all be possible. I again make arrangements with friends and friday comes with NO call from blue knight and NO call from drivers. I call them again and get the story that the driver is held up by port authority in NY and would be coming saturday or sunday. Just to check, i waited an hour and called back. I talked to a different person and asked the status of my pickup. They told me they were looking for a driver to pickup since they had not found one yet. A totally different story than a different individual told me only an hour before. I told them I had just gotten a totally different story and there was silence and "ill have to check", the line went dead.

I called back only to get a story that now they were putting it out for bid to find a driver and that it was very hard to get someone to do suck a pickup at this time of year. They had no idea when it would be picked up. I was informed that to cancel the pickup I would have to take a 250$ cancellation hit. Well, the cost of renting a car for another week was twice that so i made the decision to cancel after all the deception. I sent the cancellation fax per blue knights request on JULY 9th a full month after I contracted them to do a job they were unable to do and 10 days after the dates they told me verbally would be "absolutely no problem". I called them to make sure they had received the fax (they had) and asked how long till the expected refund would arrive and they told me one week.

Oct 4th, a FULL 5 months AFTER i contracted blue knight and FOUR months after I send in the cancellation I had still not received my refund. I had called multiple times only to be told the 'lady' who delt with refunds was not in today or would call me back. She never did. It was only after multiple emails that I got a response from them. During that time they had ALREADY changed their buisness name. Unreal.

I retained a lawyer and went ahead with his advice to file a complaint with the BBB. I did so and blue knight told them they would send my refund on 'the next truck' headed my way. This was not acceptable and the BBB told me to wait the 14 days to see if it arrived then choose to turn down or accept the result if it did or did not. Well, surprise, it did not. We are now at Dec 13th 6 months after the contact and I have still not received my refund or any further contact from blue knight. On the advice of my lawyer I am moving ahead I am going to move ahead with legal action in the new year.

NEVER EVER use this company. This was the worst experience I have ever had with and dealings in my life. In the meantime, the day i canceled blue knight I had another company move my car THE NEXT DAY and get here within 4 days for the same price. Do NOT use blue knight.
