Subject:What a nightmare!!!!!!!!
Review:This is for a move from a few years ago. I never knew this was avaliable for the consumer. I Contracted with Car-go to move a car I purchased on Ebay from Brooksville Fla to Canton Ga. The car was damaged on the way to my home. The transport company was Perry Auto Transport of Ringold Ga. The driver used my car to go get something to eat without permission. The driver placed my car to close to the car in front of it and damaged the bumper. We noted it on the receipt. I called Car go the next day to report it. It took 3 calls and a threat to do a chargeback to get a response. Perry transport denided the damage and said it was there at pickup. I have the paper work from the seller and it shows no damage listed. Perry transport has a $1000 deductable, so it's up to them to decide how much your damage is worth. The damage was $400. They felt it should be $100. To make a long story short, It took over sixty days and I got no where with either company. I tried a chargeback, but that didn't work. I got stuck to the cost of repair. This company lies and will do everything to help out the transport company, they didn't care about you, just your money. STAY away don't use them. Use somebody else.

Mr. Sander is confused and false in his statements about Car-Go and Perry Auto Transport. First off he stated we were late on pickup and delivery. Mr. Sanders placed his order 02/28/07 11:49 am, making his first available date 03/01/07. We ask for a 1 week advance notice and a 3 business day window for pickup. His vehicle was picked up 03/06/07 and delivered 03/07/07 so when he marked late for pickup, late for delivery and 4 days from pickup to delivery as it was only 1 day for transit.

As for the issues on damage, Mr. Sanders never noted anything at delivery, which per the contract is a must; however Car-Go and Perry Auto Transport look at the situation and agreed to share the cost 3 ways. Mr. Sanders agreed to this; however the day the check was to be cut and sent to him Car-Go received a call from Mr. Sanders Credit Card Company stating he had initiated a chargeback. Mr. Sanders knew and agreed to this settlement but still tried to chargeback his card. This was dishonest and deceitful. After reviewin the documentation Mr. Sanders Credit Card Company agreed with Car-Go and Perry Auto Transport and re-issued the funds for the move.

As per notes above, the “Credit Card Company” would never allow us to be reimbursed for the cancellation of Mr. Sanders’ charges. They made 100% sure we did not violate any of the terms and conditions of the actual shipping. If they had any proof that we had intentionally mislead or tried to defraud the client, we would have never been paid in “Good Faith”. Our notes also show that if the customer would have taken 5-10 minutes to take a proper delivery of the vehicle, we all would have many hours saved in notes and calls back and forth.

It is more that obvious that our office as well as the trucker tried to do what was best for the customer by trying to help with the cost of some minor repairs or damages that were not listed on the delivery form. I guess in summary, sometimes no matter how hard we try, it just does not seem to make people happy.
