I recently had my car shipped with Horseless Carriage Carriers. This was the 2nd time I have used a transport company and the 1st time with Horseless Carriage. The 1st time I shipped a car, it was a total disaster, the came in dirty and things were broken inside and out. The delivery was delayed 2 weeks, the driver used MY car to drive around in, let his dog live in it, and whatever else he did. Things were broken and he said that was how he picked it up. Then he also wanted me to pay him extra for the delivery.
On this secomd time, I wanted to go with a professional company and that is exactly what Horseless Carriage Carriers are...PROFESSIONAL! Dont let your car and investment be transported by some flyby night who was contracted by a 3rd party. I called Horseless Carriage as I had seen their trucks on the road many times. I spoke with Lorrie, who was always very curteous and professional. She always answered the phone whenever I called.
My car was picked up in Nebraska, which was off the main transport route for them. But they made it happen, rather than tell me they did not go that far north. The driver Paul was very professional and well dressed, not like drivers for other companies. Paul called me when he picked the car up, went through the paperwork atthe pickup point and then called me back to say he had my car with him and gave me an estimated date for delivery.
True to his word, he called me the night before to confirm delivery and was right on time. When he arrived and opened the truck, I was amazed at how clean and spotless the truck was, especially for an enclosed trailer. My car was wrapped in plastic to keep it safe, dry and clean. Paul took extra precautions to ensure the car was taken off the trailer with care and not damaged. And after 7 days on the road, he was dressed in a uniform and wel groomed. How many truck drivers have you seen like that on delivery after being on the road.
After my first experience, this was a 1000 times better. The bottom line is that if I ship again, it will be with Horseless Carriage. They earn their respect every day with the service they provide. I will not trust my car or needs to anyone else from here on and if you want professional service and delivery, you should not either. Go with the pro's, Horseless Carriage Carriers. PS. I am a real customer and not paid by the company for my review. I think they did a fantastic job and should be commended.
