This is one of the most dishonest and disreputable trasport companies I have ever dealt with. They value their relationship with their drivers and subcontractors far more than those of their custoemrs despite the fact that these are the people keeping them in business.

Be careful with these guys and if you have any other option for a transport company - USE IT. These guys are unreliable and WILL NOT honor their word. they will tell you whatever they need to in order to get the business. After that, you are screwed as the fee they charge at the point of application pays them in full. Everything else is just the driver and they are hands off at that point. I am convinced that if the car had any damage, you would be equally screwed.

We verbally agreed to have the car picked up in California and moved to Illinois for an overall cost of $800. However, once UAT recieved our application on line, they called back and stated that the fee would now be $900 as the car was not running. This was fine until the point that the driver never showed at the agreed time and in fact only came the next day. In the interim, we were forced to contact a mechanic to get the car started and ultimately spent the night in a hotel for an overall additional cost of $2000.

When the driver finally showed the next morning, the car was running and I contacted Arthur to inform him that we should go back to the originally agreed price of $800. He said we would have to wait until the car arrived in Illinois and if it ran, the price would be $800. Unfortunately he never told his driver and the driver insisted on $700 or no car. As his driver had again showed up late (iit was after midnight), there was no one at UAT to talk with and they suggested resolving the issue with Arthur. This process proved hopeless as Arthur refused to honor the verbal discussion despite the fact that he never sent the original quote or any follow-up in writing.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND UAT TO ANYONE REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU ARE MOVING. THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY AND WILL SCREW YOU AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY.

This customer was given a written confirmation of the exact amount of his vehicle via email and sent a response to that email confirming that he understood the price before he placed the order. There was no promise of reducing that rate because it had already been scheduled with a driver at the agreed-upon rate and the customer was already notified of that update. When a driver is scheduled for a pickup, dates and times are not guaranteed due to the nature of the business. That is clearly stated in our terms and conditions which the customer must agree to before he is able to place an order with our company.
