| Easy transport, "REAL" Customer service |
This is the second time I've transported a vehicle, and I have to say Brian from Auto Zipper made this transport much easier than the last company used. Due to the nature of the business, it is impossible to get an exact transport/delivery date unless you are willing to pay much more for the extra service. I found that with some flexibility on my side, I was able to get my car shipped close to my desired date.
Auto Zipper brokers the transport of the vehicle, and once the car is loaded on a transport truck, it is up to the driver to make the delivery. I've read other posts about people complaining that the vehicle arrived later than expected-this is usually the fault of the individual car owners. The driver does his best to get to his next location, but when a customer is late for pickup, the cascade effect is that every subsequent car deliver will be later. The driver doesn't make more money by being late...he loses money! Our car was a day late because a client in New Mexico couldn't pay the driver until the following day.
Prior to selecting Auto Zipper, I received close to 20 quotes from various companies. All quotes were within the same range. Those with a Better Business Bureau rating less than A- were eliminated. Out of those, companies with less than 24 months history were then removed. In the end, I was down to three companies. One company never answered their phone, the other never returned calls.
Brian from Auto Zipper was a pleasure to deal with. He returned phone calls, was always helpful in answering questions, and ALWAYS followed up either via email or telephone to any questions I had, and I had many. Our transport driver was also very easy to deal with.
I would use Auto Zipper again, and would refer anyone in need of transporting to Brian. Brian, thank you for making this stressful time so much easier!
