I used Magic Carpet Auto Transport to move my car from Maryland to New Mexico. This was the first time I used an auto moving service. I have heard many stories from my friends about their bad experience with Auto Movers and also I had bad experience with so called professional movers. So I did not have high hopes of professionalism, promptness and customer friendly service at the beginning though Magic Carpet has the best internet rating.
I received quotations from $ 800-900 (door- to door) and decided to go with Magic Carpet who asked $ 870 (after $25 discount for using online reservation).
My case was handled by Stephanie and she did a wonderful job. I was told that I will get a call from sub contractor 24 hrs ahead of time on my scheduled pickup and when I did not get this call, I called her. Withing few minutes I received the confirmation call.
I could not believe that next day they came to pickup my car on time!!! The pickup date was 19th and I was told that my car will be delivered on 29th. But they deliver the car on 23rd!
The subcontractor that Magic Carpet used to move my car was also very good and they did a wonderful job too.

Now I understand why Magic Carpet has the best ratings. I have no hesitation on recommending Magic Carpet Auto Movers!!!
