Direct Express Auto are NOT AUTO TRANPORTERS nor do they offer any guarantee despite the false statements on their website. They are MIDDLEMEN. My quote was $725 in which they charged $150 on my credit card and passed the phone number of an actual Auto Transport Company. When I called Kelly's Auto Transport I was given the cellular of Ed the driver himself. I then made arrangements as to when I would receive the car which was supposed to be today. No call! I called Ed, the driver who said "yeah I'm in Ontario with your car on my rig but I won't be delivering it to you today as I don't have any other cars to pick up". Ontario is less than 45 minutes away. Now I've lost money in more ways than one can imagine. Taking off work to wait for a nonexistent delivery and now I'm got to reschedule the mechanic's appointment which was supposed to be tomorrow at 8AM. Direct Express Auto's Robin said they are not responsible nor can they force Kelly's Auto Transport or Ed the Driver to deliver the car. Instead my car sits on Ed's open truck possibly subject to theft, weather, etc... I RECOMMEND NOT TO GET FOOLED BY THIS FALSE COMPANY but rather call the Auto Transporters directly to make arrangements. Also make sure you sign a contract and not some quote request. My next call will be to the Better Business Bureau and to whomever licenses this company!!

This is actually very good service, it is just that Linda does not realize it. She made her 1962 Tempest available to ship from Liberty, Indiana to Los Angeles, California on June 22 and our driver picked it up June 23. Fantastic! Six days early. Then the driver wasted no time, got to LA by June 29 and plans to deliver within a day or two. Again - Fantastic! Way ahead of schedule.
Hopefully everyone reads Lindas complaint - and our response. At all times we represented ourselves honestly, and our web site which is there for all to see, makes no reference, much less guarantees. That said, we do respect Linda for the simple reason that she provided her complete name in her review. So many people take cheap shots without attribution, and the fact she did not do that is admirable. |
