My experience with Gold Star Transport was nothing short of excellent. After spending hours researching what seemed like a "Gazillian" auto transport companies and receiving various transportation quotes I decided to call Gold Star after reading their previous reviews. This was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made. From the very beginning, everything was handled in a very professional manner and dealing with Ellen Kealey was a pleasure that made me have that "warm and fuzzy feeling" that I was not getting from conversations with other transport companies.
Ellen initially arranged to have my Buick Lasabre shipped to me from Santa Monica, CA to Nashville, TN in seven days. The Buick actually arrived in five days in the same untarnished condition it left in. During this whole process, Ellen stayed in contact with me to keep me informed of the status of the shipment. Also, as the shipment got closer to my Tennessee location the driver also called to let me know when he estimated the arrival would be. He missed his estimate by 10 minutes. :)
In summary, I could have paid a few dollars less to another carrier but I am convinced I could not have gotten the service from another carrier that I received from Gold Star Transport. The kind, courteous, and caring attitude that Ellen Kealey exhibited, during this first time endeavor for me, made me feel like I was dealing with a friend instead of just a transporter. I will definitely recommend their services to others and use them again should I need an auto transportation company.
