Overall a very good experience

I needed a non running collector car hauled from the LA area to Mn. Had reviewed a number of quotes and selected 4 corners because of their good feedback. They were not the lowest quote I got. I was more concerned with performance. I'd used DAS my last time transporting 2 years ago and that was a very painful experience, so I was a little concerned up front about the whole process. I'd decided I was not going to deal with anyone who wanted a credit card up front. I preferred to pay the broker fee at time of pickup and the transport at time of delivery, specifically because of my DAS experience.

Jeff was very timely and responsive during the booking process. After the car had been posted on 'the board' I was beseiged by other brokers claiming 4 Corners wouldn't perform, they'd underbid the job, the car would not get picked up, I would receive a damaged car, etc. I literally received 6 such calls and numerous emails from other brokers, all trying to get me to cancel and go with them. When I contacted Jeff to get his comments he patiently explained the process and the current transport environment and assured me they would get the car hauled. Jeff did offer on the spot to let me cancel if I preferred. I elected to stay the course.

A few days later Ellen explained in detail why the pickup was taking longer than hoped. There was an imbalance between the high number of cars posted to leave CA and the comparativiley low number posted to go to CA. It was further complicated by the MN destination. ON THEIR OWN, 4 Corners took $50 from their broker fee and added it to the transport fee to try and get the pickup moving. This was proof positive I'd made the right selection.

The car did get picked up without incident and was delivered to me yesterday. The driver was professional and courteous. The car is home safe and sound. 4 Corners did everything they said they would and I'm pleased with the outcome.
