I needed to get my Explorer to my daughters home in Tampa which was close to a thousand miles. And I need to feel confortable turning my car over to some unknown carrier. I was trying to determine if I would transport it myself or find a car carrier to take the vehicle. I went to the Internet and reviewed a minimum of 20 brokers and carriers and narrowed it down from a dozen to three and ultimately decided on Agape Auto Transport. It was cost effective to use a professional car carrier and save me not only lots of money but loss time from my work. I like the fact that they put current and some past reviews out there and even some not so good reviews for all to see. Have had some experience working with trucking companies in the past - there are all kind of issue that can come up and affect pickup and delivery of goods. So, I built this into my expectations. I also noted how long Agape has been in business, Better Business Bureau Reference, license and insurance and how long they have in business and listed on the Internet site. Well I am very please to say they exceeded my expectations - I posted the availability of my auto for August 22 for pickup, and I received an email from Agape on August 21 that it would be pickedup on 8/22. On 8/22 I received a call from Leo Daigle - driver and he said he would be at our home between 12:00 and 2:00 pm. He call again when he was about 30 minutes away and verified our location.
He arrive at 1:00 pm and we completed the proper paper work in 15 minutes, walked the car and noted some dings and a few scratches on his sheet - she gave me a copy and then loaded the car. Leo was a very personable guy and his rig was clean and his next stop was TN. The next morning he called and said he was headed for Florida and would deliver the care on Monday. I was a bit worried in that there was a a storm passing through Florida - but he said he would miss the worst of it. On Sunday he call and said he would delivery the car to Tampa on Monday between 2:00 and 6:00 pm per our request. When he was within an hour of Tampa, he call my daughter and veridfied location and she met him right at her front door in a Tampa subdivison at 3:30 pm.
It could not have gone any smoother. But again knowing that all kinds of issue can affect delivery, I built in extra time. Agape and Leo Daigle Auto Transport exceed our expectations. If the way Leo and Agape handled my transport and are an indication of the overall performance of Agape in transporting one of our most valuable possessions - you can rest assured that you are in good hands. I give them 5 stars plus. Communications, expectations and an occassional blip in the schedule all very important.
