I booked this company thinking that were professional but they are a scam. They took my deposit and have not delivered my car to Jacksonville. They do not return calls or respond to emails. Alex Whitaker is nasty and hangs up. He hides behind his voicemail and emails to say nasty things and basically tell you that he doesn't care when you get your car. As of today, they do not know when they will have a driver. Car was ready for pick up in Long Beach on 6/6/08 after Matson did a great job of getting it there on time. It was not picked up. I have paid 315.00 in storage fees and they do not want to reimburse me. Debbie promises to call back but will not. They let all the calls go to voicemail. I sent Alex an email reminding him of the services we contracted and he said it doesn't matter what I think they promised if I take them to court I will loose. They have not intention of delivering my car or refunding my deposit or storage. I plan to make it my fulltime job to have this industry regulated and the good companies will have this commpany to thank for it. Alex Whitaker and AAA are going to become my personal project and fulltime job to make sure they never take advantage of anyone else. I am writing the BBB and state legislators to get laws passed. My car was suppose to be delivered on 6/29/08. They didn't call to say it was going to be delayed and they woudn't answer my calls. On 7/1/08 I finally got Debbie to return a call but she still didn't give me a delivery date. I called A Unique on 7/2/08 and had to pay an additional 300.00 but it was worth it. They picked up the car from Matson 0n 7/4/08 and delivered it on 7/7/08. Unbelievable!! The deliever was very professional and called me daily to give me a status of where he was daily. The promised to deliver in 10 days and delivered it in 3 days. The sad thing is AAA doesn't have enough sense to know the car has been delivered by their competitor because they are not keeping up with there inventory. Do you really want them to handle your 50k Mercedes or anything else? BE WARE of brokers and only hire transporter that owns their own transporter. I didnn't know the difference but now that I do, I'm going to share it with everyone. This company is a disgrace to the brokers in the business that are doing the right thing. That didn't care that I didn't have my care and have no plan to deliver it. I am suing for the deposit, storage fees and the difference that I had to pay to hire a competent transporter service. It may cost me more to get my money but it's the principal of the matter. I am going to add a review everyday to this site and continue to email and call them daily until I get my money. I don't think any judge is going to not reward me my money when I never received the service. I had to pay 315.00 in storage because they left my truck there and Matson would not release it to another service until it was paid. This 2025.00 transport costed me 2700.00, stress and a plane ticket to Florida to meet the new driver. This is not the end of this and I will continue to pursue regulations, a refund and a written apology from Alex Whitaker and All Amercian Auto Transport in Ft Lauderdale. Do not confuse with company with All American in Bethesda Maryland, they have good reviews. This company is trying to make you think that they are them. Please boycott this company if you want your car to arrive or expect them to know where your vehicle is.
I disputed 245.00 deposit with my credit card company last week and it was refunded today. Now I'm still in pursue of the 315.00 in storage fees, the difference in the new transporter fees and a plane ticket to meet the new transporter. Some of you may think it's a waste of time to pursue but if everyone let's these B****** get away with taking your money, they will be rich. They must be held accountable just as we are held accountable when we enter our job sites each day or make commitments. It only took 30 minutes to contact the credit card company to get 245.00. It may take longer to get the rest but I'm going to keep at it. At a minimum I want the storage fees and I'll consider taking half of the plane and transporter fees if they come to an agreement with me immediately. Otherwise, they are in for a hell of a fight with me and I' ready. I hope my time spent posting this review helps someone. I'm going to post it weekly until this is resolved so that its stays new and no one will be taken advantage of again. Please stay away for rude, cowardly, lieing ALEX WHITAKER!!!!! Debbie doesn't follow up but she isn't rude. Good luck with your shipping experience.
