I ordered the service on Dec. 7th and specified very clearly, where the car is, and what condition it is, gave the phone number to call for pick up, etc.I also explained, that I have to move the vehicle soon, because I'm paying a storage fee over there. $25 a day! After numerous E mails from me, asking for some kind of information, about the progress in any date for pick up (vehicle at auto auction, manager needed to move it from storage area too), when weeks went by (!!!!), the dispatcher sent me Email, that they were ready to pick up the car the very next Saturday, after my order, and the place was closed!!! They knew, where the car was.....just simple check with the auction about their hours.......The dispatcher's email was not nice, this is not the way to address your customers..
It took almost three weeks, and they never scheduled the vehicle for pick up. They put me in very bad position, because of comming Christmas, and no way to get anybody to move the car than, so I ended up with huge storage bill and was able to move the car only after New Year.
Very bad experience, please be aware of this company........

Because the customer is overseas I beleive he thought he could mislead us on the information he gave us on the vehicle. Until we received the order he never told us that this was a SALVAGE VEHICLE at a salvage auction. When we received the order we confronted him about it, especially him mentioning that the vehicle runs when very, very few do from Salvage auctions. We should have cancelled the order at that point but we did tell him that it would be dificult to get it picked up from a salvage auction.
We should have cancelled his order when we received it and found out that he had lied to us, we will take blame for that but we most likely would not have quoted him at all had we known the vehicle was at a SALVAGE auction, at least not as an operable vehicle. |
