[ More ] | | We educate all of our customers on how this industry works. This customer would not communicate with us, repeatedly hung up the phone when we we tried to explain and accommodate her requests. It is very hard to provide good service to customers who do not care to listen. Suncoast Auto Transport always quotes the standard rate on each route. This puts the customer on the network at 85% and assures there vehicle will be on the next available load. We added money from our own pocket to help get this car picked up and also gave the option to the customer to do the same to expedite the process and entice a driver to do the route.
We are very honest and explain to each of our customers that no dates are guaranteed until a carrier is scheduled which this customer was fully aware of.

I need to tell you about the way Suncoast Auto Transport do business. First they call and tell you that they will give you the lowest price possible and (of course) excellent service. They had 3 weeks to find a truck to transport our car.... [ More ] | | Suncoast makes it a point to fully explain exactly how this industry works to all of our customers. This vehicle was going from Fl-Mass which is the busiest route in the U.S. right now. This makes scheduling a carrier a little more difficult since there are so many vehicles on that route. Of course we do everything we can to save our customers some money and get the job done at the cheapest rate possible but if the customer has specific dates the vehicle needs to be picked up, we suggest the expedited fee to make sure this type of situation does not occur. The customer chose not to expedite the vehicle and we did the best we could to locate a driver in time, but unfortunately it did not work out. This customer was fully aware of the consequences with starting with a cheaper rate as the carriers will always pick up whats priced higher first. This is why it is not always in the best interest to start with a low quote on very busy routes. We told this customer to add some money so we could try and hit the pick up dates for him and he refused. Dates are not guaranteed until the carrier is scheduled for pick up which this customer was aware of.

| Transported Vehicle Damaged | | Suncoast Auto Transport actually did a pretty good job. It was the company they matched me with, Transporters, Inc., that was the problem. The driver, Jim Clark, had one problem after another that resulted in a late pick up. Then he had "a mi... [ More ] | | Suncoast immediately took action to protect our customer and make sure the carrier took responsibility for any and all damage done. The carrier (Transporter Specialists) had no problem taking full responsibility for 100% of the damage and fully cooperated. Unfortunately the customer was not cooperative and delayed the entire process. Understandably, the customer voiced concerns about the damage done yet she refused to take her dodge neon to the proper facilities to get an estimate. Both Suncoast and Transporter Specialists urged her to take her vehicle to the dealer or any other reputable shop that has experience and knowledge on working with dodge neons so they could tell her exactly what had to be done and give her an accurate estimate for the total price. The customer REFUSED and instead went to only 1 place for an estimate that was not even sure what needed to be done to repair the bumper. The carrier was ready to pay top price to make sure the damage was completely repaired professionally and quickly but it is quite difficult to make someone happy when they would not even answer our calls or take the vehicle to get a proper estimate so that it can be fixed. She then refused to take the money for the repairs because she did not want to sign a waiver simply stating that all damages were repaired and the carrier had fulfilled their responsibilities. It is extremely important to Suncoast that in the rare event that an accident does happen, the repairs are done the right way, in a timely manner, so that it is as little inconvenience to our customer as possible. We bend over backwards to help our customers and although this customer did not spend a dime, she made it very difficult to help her. She did not pick up the phone when we called, would not listen to anything we said when we tried to explain how to resolve this, did not want to get an estimate for the damages, and finally refused to take the money at first because she did not want to sign the waiver. We did the best we could for her and finally the repairs were done and she did not pay anything out of pocket [ view ] |
