| Misleading - Don't count on timeliness! | | My elderly parents received a quote of $695 on Nov. 8 for transporting their vehicle from Indiana to Arizona with Dec. 14/15 pickup and Dec. 22 delivery date. Dates were important as they were leaving town Dec. 16. Gilles, the salesman, reassured t... [ More ] | | The custonmer that set up the order was Richard Pearce. The dates were set up for Dec 14-15 for pick up. We did have a driver lined up and yes, he got delayed on the pick up dates because he could not complete his full load. Unfortunetly, during the month of December, becasue of the holidays, the drivers are limited and sometimes cant get a complete load due to customers not moving, they are out of town or not enough work. The month of december is slow for all types of industries, including transport of vehicles. AS you can see from most of our reviews, we always get the job done right and our customers are very happy with our services. Sometimes there are things we cant control, like the drivers not being able to make their complete loads and get the route done. Certain routes are slower than others and with the month of december, its very hard for these drivers to get routes complete to work. We did all we could, and even had several drivers trying to do this route. In this industry, dates are Always estimated and delivery dates are never guaranteed, since we know drivers are delayed for many reasons. We were able to find a driver finally to get a load complete and we gave you the option if you wanted to take this driver who was more expensive to pick up the car on Dec 22-23 for your parents. You took this option and we even paid a portion of it to help out, which we dont have to do. It even states on our contracts that dates are Estimated, due to any delays the driver might have, including if he can not get a full load. We can not control that, they depend on customers moving their cars to fill up their truck loads and if there is not enough cars moving, they dont make money for the route. We understand your frustration for your parents, and I assure you, if we cuold have done anything more to move it any faster, we would have, but we depend on these drivers who are the actual ones picking up the cars from the customers, to get their completes loads done and schedule the trnasports. Drivers make their own prices, so when this driver callde us and was more expensive, we called you to give you teh option if you wante to take it. The money goes directly to the driver, not us. If you were unhappy with this option or the delay, you cuold have let us know at that time or not taken that driver. We are not misleading nor do we lie to our customers. We are very honest and we do the best we can, even in situations we cant control. We appreciate your review and hoped you would have told us earlier instead of posting this. But we understand, that not everyone can be a satisfied customer. [ view ] |

| Extremely poor pickup and delivery service | | It was very important to have my auto delivered by the 22 - 24th of July. The contract was made on 13 July with State2State for $795 and upon advisement by a representative of the company I paid additional $100 to expedite the transport pickup and t... We confirmed with a driver to move the vehicle for extra money and hte cusotmer agreed to this. We contacted him at all times to verify everythign and the price and he agreed to it. The driver got confirmed for leaving Georgia still within our window of timeframe according to our contracts. The customer signed the forms and was OK with it all. After the driver pickedup the car, he was in transit and had some truck problems and was delayed a bit for delivery. The customer was advised on this. Unfortunetly, there was delays with the driver that is out of our control, since the delivery dates are estimated and never guaranteed, we still had the services done for the customer. We handled everything the right way and this is why pick up dates and delivery dates are estimated since we know sometimes the drivers have delays. [ view ] |

| TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BAD EXPERIENCE | | I gave a woman named Yali at this company my credit card information on Monday June 21, 2010 which was the first day of "expected" delivery (6/21-6/28 were the expected delivery dates) and never heard her voice again. When he called to set up the order to ship his car, I clearly advised him that the quote I had given him was months old, and that the prices out of California had gone up. I told him that I would try to move the car at the original price, but that I would advise him how much more it was going to cost to move tha car since the price I had originally quoted him was not the right price anymore. He agreed to that and was fine. He signed the contracts and sent them back to us. He then tried calling me on the weekend, when we were closed and I was out of the office. I responded to him first thing monday morning and told him that Amber, in our dispatch dept. would call him that day to advise on status, he never cancelled the order. Then later that day he sent me an email saying he was paying more to move the car and wanted to cancel. I found out that he was also working with two other companies and had signed contracts with them as well. He now was looking to cancel since the other company was charging him more to move the car. He was not cancelling within our terms and wanted to get his deposit back. We were doing our job, but this customer was dealing with 3 companies at the same time and is now taking it out on us for no reason. He claims we ignored him, but i have notes in my call log and emails proving my communication with him for two months and even after he set up the order. His review on our company is not correct and unnecessary due to the fact that he was working with other brokers besides us and now wants to blame us for something we did not do, nor did we get a chance to move his car, so NO services were provided to him by us. We were doing everything according to our contracts, yet he is looking to dispute with us, for his lack of working with one company only. [ view ] |

| Mi to Ca | | Recently, I used State 2 State to move 2 of my vehicles from MI to CA. Initially, the contact was made very easily and I had no complaints. Actually Yali answered many questions because I was nervous about the process. Unfortunately, 2 weeks before I... [ More ] | | The order was set up and dispatched accordingly to the contracts, we always confirm with the driver a couple days before the estimated pick up dates to assure the best timeframe of pick up. WE advised the customer the pick up dates and the driver called to arrange the time of pick up with her directly. We confirmed that the cars were picked up on time and we never heard from the customer after that to advise us on any damages to a vehicle. If we had heard from the customer that there was damages or she was unhappy in any way with the services, we would have tried to work out the problem. We are now hearing from this review that this happened. The price had nothing to do with the damages, we charge what the driver charges to do that specific route. If she had advised us, or done a good inspection on the vehicle and notated the damages, the repairs would have been covered by the driver. I tried to contact the customer today to speak in regards to this and have not heard back. I wish we knew this had happend to rectify the problem. [ view ] |
