| Do NOT Do Business with State 2 State | | I had a pickup date of originally Fri and that turned into Monday at Midnight with a delivery of Wednesday, My car arrived on Saturday. I had to incur additonal rental car expenses for 3 days due to late delivery. Do NOT attempt to call State 2 Sta... [ More ] | | This customer set up the order with our company on 12/26 and we had it confirmed with a driver for pickup on her pick up dates for 1/6 on 12/30. The driver was dispatched ahead of time and confirmed with the customer for pick up. If the customer is familiar with this industry and is knowledgeable about how it works, then they should be aware that dates are ESTIMATED for pick up as well as delivery since anything can happen to these drivers that may cause delays. The contracts and all email confirmations are clear on the Estimated dates since we know sometimes these drivers are delayed for many reasons. These drivers are all Independent drivers and we are a broker, so we go by what the driver tells us and we go by their schedule to advise on all customers. This driver unfortunetly, broke down and had to go to the shop before he was able to pick up our customers car. He was delayed on his pick ups as for was delayed doing any deliveries. We communicated with the driver and customer once we were aware of the situation. The customer was given the drivers information for contact since the driver had been confirmed, since our office is closed on the weekends, like most business' are. This is why all customers are provided all the drivers information so if they need to contact the driver directly, they can, especially after hours when we are closed or on weekends. The customer had contacted us via email and yes we responded to her emails, but we also spoke to her several times over the phone. We understand the inconvenience the customer may had had, but we don't cause delays for the drivers purposely and we cant predict what may happen in the future while these drivers are on the road every day driving and their trucks may break down or other delays may happen, that we wont be able to advise on until they occur. The customer paid the driver his money at delivery and could have asked for a discount or some type of compensation, but instead she posted a negative review on our company, which again, we are only the broker, not the actual transporter or driver who picked up her car and delivered it. We called the customer after her car was delivered and again apologized for the drivers delays and offered to send her a check for $50 from our pockets and she refused. We did all we could to make her happy, but there are just some things that cant be prevented especially when it was not caused by us directly. [ view ] |

| Kept Refund - Cancelled 1 day later | | Signed electronic document on Friday night, cancelled on Saturday. Made calls/emails to State 2 State on Monday before funds had been taken from my account, trying to advise them to cancel the order.
On Tuesday they inform us our deposit is non-r... [ More ] | | This customer was double booked with us and another broker. She set up her order with us and signed the contracts authorizing us to dispatch the order to a driver and to run the deposit on her credit card. Our contracts clearly state that the deposit is NON-refundable during window of pick up and the customer cancelled within our terms. She did not cancel 7 days prior to pick up, she cancelled within the pickup dates. The customer signed the contracts and is now claiming we are stealing her money while she was booked with two different brokers and obviously has to dispute with one of us. If you look at our ratings, we are a honest company, but we cant do anything when customers book orders with different brokers and end up making someone waste their time working on the order. | didnt work out, found out why... | | this was my first time shipping a car....after working with the first broker and getting the run around for a week or so i called S2S (after receiving a txt saying they had someone in the area of the car) to see if i could get something done....Amber... [ More ] | | We do have drivers in areas when we advise customers on that, but we do have to wait till the driver is able to confirm his full load before leaving that area. We only go by what all the drivers advise us of. We work with a large network of drivers all over the USA and when they are in certain areas getting their loads put together, we are able to advise customers of this. Unfortunetly, the driver was not able to confirm a full load as fast as he wanted to, since not enough cars were leaving Wyoming. We advised the customer of this situation and were in contact with him the whole time via phone calls and responds to his emails. We did everything we could to get any driver confirmed to pick up his vehicle as soon as possible. We even added extra money to the route to see if a more expensive driver would take it, or go out of his way to get it picked up. The customer stated that a driver wanted the job from us, but we did nto have a driver call us on any dimensions to clarify with the customer, or else we would have called and gotten this information rigth away. We want to move a car, or else we dont get paid, so there is no reason why we would ignore a drivers request on taking an order and cancelling the order with a customer. We dont even charge the deposit, until the driver is confirmed for the actual pick up, so there is no reason why we would do all the work for free. We contacted the customer directly and explained we did not have this driver call us at any time, and it must have been a mistake on the drivers side. We apologized to the customer for any misunderstanding, but we did all we could to move his car as fast as we could, until he decided to cancel the order and go with another broker. [ view ] |

[ More ] | | The vehicle was picked up according to the dates the customer requested by the driver assigned " GLP transport". The car was scratched at pick up location where the customer was not at. Pictures and inspection was done by driver to assure damages were fixed properly. The car was taken to a shop to repair and delivered to the customer the next day after it was repaired, still in the timeframe of delivery. There was never no indication from the customer that there was anything of personal belongings in his vehicle, nor was the driver aware of it or advised either. Personal belongings are NOT covered by any drivers while transporting vehicles. The customer was aware of this from our contracts he signed and our email confirmation explaining the the driver's and the Department of transportation's rules and regulations on personal items in any vehicles. The customer is claiming something was stolen from his car, when no one was advised of this item ever being in the vehicle. This review is not adequate accordingly since our company provided the services to this customer and his vehicle was transported by the driver " GLP transport" , NOT State 2 state auto, we are just the broker for this transaction.
