My car was then picked up one day prior to my authoriation without my notification and I had to track down the driver to verify who picked up my car and determine when... [ More ] | | Heather is trying to get out of paying her bill for services rendered. She is making it as miserable a transaction as possible.
Heather's contract was signed on the 6th of December. She wanted it picked up as soon as the dealership would release it. The truck was scheduled on the 7th of December. The vehicle was picked up on the 8th. We sent a dispatch notice with all of the pertinent information when the truck was assigned and left a message for Heather. Her own confusion, which is normal, given that most people don't purchase a car very often, comes with the dealership calling the truck back to say it was ready earlier than Heather thought. She told me she wanted it out of there as soon as it was paid for. I don't understand people some times, when they are caught in the headlights. She still owes the money, which she promised to pay promptly. It's been two weeks now, and we still wait for her to submit her payment through the online form. Can we bend over any further? We reduced her payment for the simple fact that Heather claimed she didn't receive the notice that the vehicle was being picked up and delivered the same day. We strive for excellence on each and every shipment. Incidentally, her entire cost was $370. We continue to smile and service our customers to the best of our ability! | EVALUATION of SERVICE/PDQ AUTO MOVERS | | I went with this company ONLY because I was given the information on how shipping cars really work. But once I decided to go ahead with this company, I was quoted 3days that my car would be delivered.Missy told me that the driver would pick up my car... [ More ] | | Wow, what can I say to this? It started wonderfully, then the truck had issues. Although the driver still got it there in record time we cannot give kudos because of the stress and inconvenience they caused Lisa. All the phone calls we had to make added to our frustration at not being able to do more, and in the end, to not please her! We are here every step of the way... always. When the driver arrived in Hempstead, we had to guide him to her door because he had no GPS. The time delivered was 12 hours later than scheduled. We feel that at the very least, the driver communicated constantly with us and with Lisa. Apparently and rightly so, the driver's dispatcher preferred that his driver not be on the phone while he's on the road. It takes a lot of concentration to drive a large car carrier! If your car was on the truck, logically, you would hope the driver was taking the utmost care of it by taking every precaution to deliver it safely and in pristine (though usually dusty) condition.
About the time frame.. from origination point to destination the time was 3 days from pickup. This is outstanding! The cost of $585 was fantastic! Did we compensate for the review? No! Was there any damage? Absolutely not! Was there a delay at pickup? Yes.. the driver was less than 50 miles away from pickup when he broke down. He fixed it and got to Lisa's Aunt, as soon as possible and with constant communication.
We were in contact with Lisa, her Aunt, the dispatcher and the driver throughout the entire shipment, from morning till late night, daily. There is nothing to be ashamed of here!!! [ view ] |

When i read this review i immediately pulled a call log and found that there were no unanswered calls from Carols phone numbers. Her shipment was back in August and we were never notified of any damage and when we pull all email correspondence for this order we find only one email sent from Carol and 4 sent from PDQ to Carol. We can not help with a problem we do not know about.If you have any doubt about our responsiveness just pick up a phone and call. I am certain you will be surprised at the hours we keep 8am - 11 pm 7days a week. The difference in price is one we were not prepared for. We did take Carols order 2 months in advance which is a practice we strongly recommend against. The price for the truck rose buy $150 and we reduced our fees by half so that she did not bear this cost increase alone. This was something that was discussed with her at the time she placed the order that we would do our best to stay with in a budget but could not guarantee a price that far away. We do not have a crystal ball and do not know how much fuel prices will rise in any given period. [ view ] |
