| CAUTION, horse died during transport | | The reason we picked M and N Horse Transport is that she told us it would be a strait shot from AZ to NC with out any layovers, one of 2 horses being shipped was not a good traveler. | Bad hauling company | | Please do not use M and N Horse Transportation / North Carolina.Sold my finished barrel gelding thru BHW, I'm in OK, buyer is near Portland, Or. Used this company as they had a "great" website/ reviews.. They promise exp. Horsemen, st... [ More ] | | I have spoke with both parties involved in this transport, as well as my drivers, and as owner of my company, I realize that something went wrong with this transport on one end or another. I do apologize for the driver not leaving the rest of the hay at the drop off end, and for what he may have said at drop off. Please note that we do keep hay in front of the horses at all times, but due to this instance, the driver that was on this trip is fired and no longer works for M and N Horse Transportation. I want to make this situation right, and I dont want this to happen again, therefore, this driver will no longer be making any trips for me or hopefully no other company. I truly respect all horses, and from my "dispatcher" position, I go mostly on what the customer informs me, and I have taken care of this situation by hiring a different, horse professional and CDL driver for my company. | Not good to horses | | I have used this company twice. The first time they loaded an animal that had foundered. It is against the rules to transport an animal that can't support its own weight. The shipper blamed the barn and the barn blamed the shipper. I believed the... [ More ] | | We have transported for this customer before and all went well. She wanted us to transport a pony that had a previous founder issue. While in transit with this pony, the pony was "sore" but not "truly foundered". We transported this pony per her request, as the pony was comfortable and able to withstand the transport. The second time we transported for this customer, the seller in OH must have sold her bad horses. We are only the transport company and can not take blame on what the customer buys sight un-seen, or what the seller sells the buyer. If the horse developed a splint on the trailer, then the horse would have been lame off the trailer at unloading, and that was not the case. We shipped for this customer months ago, and now they want to say several months later that there was a problem. THe horse was signed off as received in good condition, and we can not be held responsible that a "bad" horse was bought by the buyer and sold by the seller. We are just the transport company. | Horse hauling | | Late to pick horse up. Did not have documentation to take horse across border. My horse and hauler spent 12 hours in the trailer at the border waiting for info from the owner of the transport company(Natalie). My horse arrived with a HUGE cut above ... [ More ] | | My company takes full responsibility for this mishap. This was our first time into Canada and per contract all paperwork has to be taken care of by the customer. The paperwork was not in order, and that caused the delay at the border. The horse was put into a large box stall for the night and made as comfortable as possible. I do apologize for this instance, and guarentee that this will not happen again. The horse arrived at its destination healthy, happy and on time. The only problem was at the border. [ view ] |
