We currently ship approximately 5000 cars per year, our only additional charges consist of 2 different types of services, standard service 5-10 day pickup priority service 1-4 day pickup, these services are calculated from the first available pickup date given to us by the customer. Our service is outstanding as to pickup and delivery, customer service and knowledge of the industry which is extensive. unfortunately there are people or companies [competitors] out there that play games and submit bad reviews in order to hurt us, even though what they say is not true. The customers also do not read the order and do not ask questions, as they should. All the reviews reflect the same complaint the difference between the priority and standard service which is really the fault of the customer trying to choose standard and ask for priority on there order. As you can see 97% of our customers have submitted no reviews, I guess that should tell you something, do we have to contact the customers that were satisified to place good reviews just to appease the customer.

    Response:the original pickup date according to the contract was 6/18, the car was picked up by Mapletree Transport on 6/23 and delivered on 6/26, this constituted a 4-5 day pickup at a contract price of $150.00 additional, so every step of the way the customer does not tell the truth. He also does not indicate here that the car was a 55 chev belair and when i told him that i would need a little more money, he said go ahead. I guess that he has nothing better to do with his life ?????????????? What kind of chance is he giving he is not due the money.     Response:this man is an out and out liar, he was told that if it was a priority shipment there would be additional money due, he cheated the driver out of the money and caused nothing but problems for no reason. The contract was very clear and he signed it and then refutes it, so who is lying and cheats ???? We should have demanded $275.00 additional but only charged him 140.00, since that is what had to be given to the driver, he did not pay the 140.00 and is still complaining, this is a matter for small claims court. We never held ourselves out to be a trucker, we are a broker and the contract states that. The police should never have gotten involved in this since this is a civil matter and should have been handled as such.     Response:We had told this customer many times that we were having trouble getting a truck to do this route, they said that keep trying, we indicated that we would need additional money to induce a driver to take it [paragraph#] of terms and conditions, as a result a driver called immediately and wanted the car, he also wanted $100.00 additional, then he charged additional $100.00, due to the deceit of the customer not telling us that the car did not run, the car was also an inoperable vehicle rather than a running vehicle. I guess that the customer wanted the job done for nothing and never thought to tell us the truth about the condition of the car.     Response:this customer was full aware of the additional charge for a 1-4 pickup, of course when the car was being delivered she complained of the charge, but never complained before and constantly kept calling as to when the car was being picked up, it was picked up in the time frame requested and unfortunately must pay for the service requested, as to the extra charge the customer received the contract immediately upon booking the order and could have called and said something or cancelled and received a full refund, but she neglected to do so and now is blaming it on us. This customer booked the order on 5/19 and the car was picked up on 6/2, he could have cancelled after 10 days and the deposit would have been refunded. We have every intention to sue this individual if in fact we lose any orders over his lies.     Response:this customer placed the order on 5/26 with a 5/28 pickup date this was clearly within the 1-4 day pickup range, as a result the custom,er was charged an additional $225.00 instead of $275.00 as per the shipping order. The customer never even bothered to respond to the shipping order and never even signed it or called to question anything. The original quote that the customer received reflected the 2 types of services and should have been chosen by the customer.     Response:this customer was told repeatedly that we were having problems securing a truck going upstate new york, and was offered his money back, he indicated that we should keep trying to move the car. He was never told 5 days but he chose standard pickup which is 5-10 days from the original pickup date which was 5/10/2010, he was refunded his money within the time frame and told that we could not sevure the truck. The customer now has it on the board for some time with 2 other companies [LOepke Auto transport and Erin & Bills transport for a lesser trucker pay than we had it on for, I guess that they will have the same review placed when they cannot move the car.     Response:this customer placed an order with us after she had the order with many companies, we had told her at inception that to go to myrtle beach, sc and deliver it to west virginia was very difficult and could take some time and a little more money, she agreed to the above. Now when the car is getting delivered she complains about the additional amount and does not even pay the driver the additional and just gives the car to her. We had talked today and I said that instead of $200.00 additional, just pay the driver $90.00 additional, she agreed.only the exact cod was paid to the driver and nothing else, the 90.00 was agreed to afterwards and will probably never be sent to the driver. It also never took 18 days the requested pickup date as per the contract was 4/8, we picked it up on 4/24 and delivered it on 4/25, she complains , but she was told that this is a difficult rout and it could take sometime for the pickup. The only reason that the increase took place was that the pickup and delivery was very much out of the way and the $90.00 did not even cover the drivers cost. [ view ]

We were very clear when the contract was sent to the customer in that if you have chosen the wrong service the additional cost would be added at the end, I guess that this person did not read the contract and is now blaming us for doing something wrong, as far as scamming we never scam anyone, we do not have any hidden extras added to our invoices, the only item that we have is 2 different types of services a] standard service 5-10 pickup and b] priority service 1-4 day pickup, the differences are explained in the quotation as well as the contract. The customer placed the order on 4/7 with a pickup on 4/12, and then changed the pickup to 4/16, the car was picked up on 4/18, 2 days after the requested pickup date, if the car was picked up within 1-4 days the additional charge of $275.00 should have been charged , we only charged them $125.00 which they have complained anyway and made the driver miserable and lied to the driver several times, first he tried to give the driver 300.00 and then another amount but never the correct amount, this guy was a crook from the beginning and he says that he is an upstandinding person, we picked up the car on 4/18 and delivered on 4/23 and still he tried cheating us, if necessary we will post a copy of his contract indicating all of the above, as well as any emails received from him, including todays email indicating the above] [order booked on 4/7 [pickup date requested on 4/12 and then changed to 4/16]. These people are probably very aware how to try and cheat people out of the money for the service that they rendered, they look for any type of excuse. We are presently securing an affadavit from the driver of what took place with this customer at the time of delivery and that he made the driver wait approximately 8 hours playing with the paying of the money, that he is going to the bank to get the money and then comes back with 300.00 instead of the proper amount and then doing the same thing over and over[the customer could have been charged $50.00 per hour waiting time , but nothing was charged. We will follow this behavior with the military regarding these people, i am sure that the lying and cheating will be welcome information. Just to go a little further the police were summoned and they instructed the customer to pay the driver the full amount including the priority fee, the reason for this review is that they do not like to pay or hold to the truth, the other items in there review have no validity in settling this matter, they were fully aware of the additional charge for priority and tried to scam us out of the money as they must do with other people that they deal with. Our additional charge was fully legitimate as they knew, but played dumb when the car being delivered. They will pickup and deliver to requested areas ONLY if safe, unrestricted, and mutually agreeable. It is illegal for any vehicle transporter to be over the approved length or height according to DOT regulations. Low hanging wires and/or trees can damage vehicles and the transporter itself. If you or someone you designate is not available to release or pickup the vehicle(s), they can be driven to designated areas. Any additional charges imposed by the trucking company will be passed on to the customer. 5. All vehicles to be delivered with a balance due must be paid by cash, postal money order, or certified funds only, payable to the trucking company. Deposits are accepted thru the use of Paypal only. 6. Primary insurance for your vehicle(s) is provided by the carrier assigned to your move. Full coverage insurance is provided by carrier[retail value of automobile] a copy of the carrier insurance certificate will be available to the customer after car is assigned to the carrier. 7. It is against DOT (Department of Transportation) Regulations to transport vehicles with any personal items inside the vehicle. The driver has to enter the State Inspection Stations at each state. They can inspect the vehicles at any time and give the Carrier a fine up to $10,000.00 and/or remove the personal items from the vehicle. Auto transportation companies have the authority to transport vehicles only. Also, personal items are not covered under cargo insurance. It only covers the vehicle against transport damage. The company as a courtesy allows the customer to place 100 pounds of personal items in vehicle at their own risk [confined to the trunk]. 8. Fairway, Carrier, or their agents shall not be responsible for any of the following: a- Damage to undercarriage, exhaust system, suspension, wheel bearings, tie downs, brakes, alignment, tune ups, battery or charging system. (No inspection evaluation is performed at pickup location) therefore Fairway nor its Carriers accepts responsibility for them. b-Damage not detected at pickup location due to weather, lighting, or vehicle too dirty to inspect. c-Damage to car phones, video equipment, or any antennas under any condition. It is recommended that you remove them. d-If you put personal items in the vehicle, you will be responsible for any fines incurred by the carrier, if weight is in excess of 100 pounds allowable. Insurance does not cover personal belongings against theft or damage of any kind, this should be covered by your homeowners insurance or apartment renters policy. e- Damage caused by fluids or objects flying up from the road, or out of the sky.     Response:WE DAMANDED NOTHING AT DELIVERY, THE DRIVER ASKED FOR THE MONEY AND HE INDICATES THAT HE ONLY ASKED FOR WHAT WAS DUE AS PART OF THE CONTRACT. tHIS CUSTOMER SEEMS TO WANT TO DEFRAUD THE TRUCKING COMPANY TO PAY A FALSE CLAIM. THE BELOW REPLY WAS WRITTEN TO THE CUSTOMER: I apologize if we did not see eye to eye, but I did tell you that I would contact the carrier and try to find out what had happened. There was no reason to write a review as you did until I got back to you. As you understand the car might have been low to start with and giving the car to the driver without any knowledge that there is a switch in the trunk which controls the suspension is appauling since you knew that the car could be damaged in transport [then you would put in a false claim], when I spoke to you you had no knowledge of this and could not care less, if in fact the driver did this we will give you there insurance company information and you can pursue the claim. As to the additional $100.00, there is no proof of that even happening only your side, you had even admitted that the driver was only given the amount required by the contract and nothing more, when I asked you for the receipt you had replied that only the balance due was paid and that should have been exactly what was contracted for. Again nothing additional was charged, and after speaking to an arrogant person like you I believe that this all a lie, we will contact your father and get his side, you were not even there to verify this. To make insinuations that not to use us when we had nothing to do with this so called asking for an additional $100.00 and knew nothing about it until you called and told us should not be blamed on us and would not let us get a word in edgewise. As far as the so called damage that you claim we will try it to handle for you as best as possible,even though we think that this is extortion, also keep in mind that the vehicle was 14 years old and probably on its last leg, there are no records nor did your 87 year old father mark the inspection report as such.. And threatening us that your father is a judge and 87 years old is not the way to handle the situation. Your attitude in this matter is appauling I hope that you have read the contract, whereby it specifically indicates in paragraph# 8a that suspensions are not covered by carrier. We would like you to remove the review and we will try to get these so called problems resolved as expeditiously as possible. I proceded to contact the father and agreed that the son would remove this review and we would finish this off, i guess the son who is not even the owner of the vehicle wants to continue , unfortunately that is a lawyer and can get away with anything ??????????     Response:This was never a customer that we shipped, if in fact we did take a deposit it was fully refunded, since the car was not done, she tried to force the order on us and we could not take it due to the price. Checking our records it indicates that the $200.00 deposit was refunded on 4/5/10. There is no reasonable reason this person is lodging a complaint other than pure vindictiveness because we could not move her vehicle and we told her that repeatedly. She booked the order online and paid her own deposit on line thru paypal, when we saw that we could not do it we cancelled and refunded the depoait. This person ranted and raved when she was told that we could not get a truck to move her car and said that she was goping to report us to every agency. [ view ]
