| BAIT and SWITCH | | Sent a agreement to deliver vehicle from CA to NY. After failing to pick it up and giving excuses each day they did not (truck broke down, Driver late, no room) when we had no choice suddenly they could do it but it would cost $500 more than origina... [ More ] | | Bulldog Transport has never forced a payment on delivery without prior approval. We do not benefit financially from the cost of the carrier.
We did everything in our power to provide solutions and options so the vehicle would not be towed by the city. The delivery party, which is not our customer, decided $1550 was okay. Only then did we assign the carrier.
Everything that happen on delivery was due to the poor service from the carrier, but it was resolved by that morning. Vehicle was delivered undamaged and it never saw a terminal.
Although difficult, we did everything in our power to make this right. In the future, we recommend to schedule the shipment of a vehicle of this proportion with more time in advance to plan accordingly. Finding a carrier is not a problem, but we need to time to locate the best price and service.

Our fee was refunded immediately and you decided to work with another broker.
As a broker, we do not benefit from the cost of the carrier. Our goal is to ship your vehicle, and to do that we need to be transparent with everything the drivers tell us. If we speak to a driver and he says he can pick up within 24 hours at a different cost, its our responsibility to communicate that with you.
