| BEWARE !!!! | | I called for a QUOTE and spoke to the "so-called" president of this company, which I later learned she works out of her BASEMENT at home. She lied and fanagled me and said she had the best rate and that I better give her a credit card to &... [ More ] | | Linda Lindholm contacted our OFFICE @ 1135 Pine St. ste 202 in Redding, CA on 09/02/2011 in regards to shipping her 2002 Ford F150. Linda needed specific dates for the vehicle to be shipped. At the time Linda and first spoke she expressed concerns regarding shipping the vehicle, so I did a conference call with David @ Puzzle Auto who insured her he would be able to pick up the truck on the dates requested. Linda moved forward and placed her order. We then dispatched her truck over to Puzzle Auto for transport. 4 days later, 4 days after we sent her the scheduling notification with Puzzle Auto's info, Linda called to cancel. We explained to her that the scheduling fee was non refundable. WE DO NOT CHARGE DEPOSITS, we charge our broker fee once the carrier is assigned. Linda left me a threatening voicemail after losing a charge back she initiated with her bank because the we provided the documentation required showing that she indeed placed this order and her carrier was assigned. We would be happy to have Linda come in and see our beautiful office and meet Meaghan our amazing 24 old who apparently sounds 15 on the phone! Meaghan is really sweet, patient and kind over the phone and Linda was quite the opposite. Had Linda tried to "TALK" to me like a human being rather than trying to bully me and call me names there is a good possibility I would have worked with her............however, the name calling and lies leaves me to have no contact with her at all. We spent a lot of time on the phone discussing him needing this done quickly and on specific dates because he was leaving town. AFTER we contracted his carrier, ON THE DATE HE REQUESTED FOR THE PICKUP, he called us to cancel. We told him before the card was charged and when he cancelled, that we charge our broker fee of $195 once the carrier is assigned and that is is non-refundable. We spent several hours talking to numerous carriers looking for the one that could meet his needs. He was very aware of the charge, however, he had received a lower quote and promise from another company and DID NOT cancel with us prior to his vehicle being assigned to the carrier. In fact, he did not cancel until the carrier was already in route to the pickup location. The carrier charged us a $100 DRY-RUN fee for the late cancellation. [ view ] |
