We had in our records that you were very happy with our service because we had your vehicle picked up in 4 days from the day you said it could be released to the carrier. You originally went with our Rockbottom rate that is designed to move in 1-10 business days, for the customer not in a rush and wanting a cheaper rate. Shortly after you placed your order you chose to upgrade because you decided you wanted a quicker pickup. The price increase was completely your choice and we are sorry that you were unhappy about the decision. We did have your vehicle picked up in that guaranteed time frame.
You are correct that we have 3 different tier shipping options. We have designed this Shipping option tier because there are some customers that rather save money and are not worried about the vehicle moving quicker than a week. The other two shipping options are designed for the customer that is in a hurry, such as yourself, and want a vehicle guaranteed picked up in 1-3days. As you experienced we have the upgrade option. Looks like on your order you chose to go with Rockbottom originally because you were ok with your vehicle moving in 1-10 business days, then 4days after placing your order you decided to switch to the guaranteed 48hr pickup option and you upgraded. Which we did then have your vehicle picked up that same day.
I would like to mention that there is no small print. We spell out these options on our website, the original quote we send you, and in our terms and conditions that customers sign so they are fully aware of the time frames and options. | Damaged Limo! | | JoRye Transport damaged the limo that we shipped to a buyer from New York. I have pictures that indicate the limo had absolutely no damage on 9-28-11. The limo was picked up on 10-2-11. It was scheduled to be picked up on 10-1-11. He finally call... [ More ] | | First I would like to respond by saying that this is false information. First and foremost Jo-Rye Trucking DOES absolutely have insurance. We DO NOT assign any carriers who do not have insurance. All carriers that are in our database must have insurance to even make it into our database. And this customer filed a claim with the carriers insurance so we know he knows they have insurance. Regarding damage to the limo, Mr Fred Ling who received this limo on delivery signed the bill of lading releasing the carrier of any damage because there was no damage to this vehicle. It was 24hrs later that Mr. Ling tried to file a claim that there was damage done to this limo. The insurance company will deny any claims that are not clearly marked on the Bill of Lading showing that the vehicle was received in a damaged condition. The purpose of the Bill of Lading is to protect the carrier and customer. The Bill of Lading is an inspection and condition report signed both on pickup and delivery. We have made sure that in our Terms and Conditions contract that customers are fully aware it is important to make sure that you note any damage to your vehicle. The person that posted this review is the original owner of this limo (bought by Mr. Ling site unseen). But we do want anyone reading this to know that we have a 5 star rating on this site and as well as others because we do our job very well and really work hard for our customers. In addition we hold our carriers to a higher standard than most companies because we want our customers to have very professional experience. Julie, we would be glad to explain this situation to you if you would like to call. It sounds like Mr Ling has not been completely honest with you.
