But is angry at us...for trying to ship his car, the job he hired us to do! Obviously we deal with all sorts of personalities, but as Eddie states, we sound nice, because we are nice!!! we do a great job, when a customer is honest and not playing games and double booking!!! Never, never, never, never, never, never use this company and this broker, his name Paul Baldwin. Sweet promises, gave low price for delivery my car, charged $199 ... [ More ] | | Had driver for customer at quoted rate! When driver called to schedule pick up with customer, he tried to renegotiate rate, because another broker promised a better rate to him. So customer stories of storage fee woes, and tales of shipping woes all while arguing with us, the carrier, but mostly arguing with himself- screwed things up for him. We work very hard to ship every car and best prices available in the country, but honestly, when people try to interfere and play brokers against each other, the drivers see it and get annoyed and move on. Never under any circumstances use these scam artists for anything. I contacted them in 11/09/11 to transport a Ford pickup. After almost a month of phone calls and e-mails - sever... [ More ] | | The only liar/theif and crook is BRIAN WARREN is or why he keeps amending his review(s). Not sure what Brian Warren issue is, but since he was paid to write a negative review as a compensated reviewer by competitor, the facts go out the window at that point, since Brian Warren is running his own scam and profiting on his lies. Now that we called him on the compensated part, he has altered to review to show not compensated, very convenient for him. The facts remain we did have a carrier for him, AT THE QUOTED PRICE ! ; but since he double booked and got baited by the lies of a competitor he wanted to cancel with us, after we worked on his order and found a carrier to transport his pick up truck for him. As stated over in over in many positive reviews from non compensated reviews, we are a hard working, dependable company with happy wonderful customers, - - don't let the paid lies of Brian Warren sour them. Especially enjoy the part of the review that he upset with the BBB also!

THIS SAME DISCONNECTED PHONE # WAS WRITTEN BY CUSTOMER IN 3 DIFFERENT PLACES ON THE ORDER FORM;FOR PICK UP, FOR DELIVERY AND FOR INITIAL CONTACT. | Just the Facts | | Early in May 2011, we started researching the cost and time-frame for getting a 2006 Ford Ranger from New Hampshire to San Diego California. AAA All*Star Discount Auto Transporters quoted $899 (later to be increased), which we determined was less ex... [ More ] | | We gave the Ryders wonderful service, as you can see in their documented re-cap of events. However, see June 21, when Ryder states he BOOKED WITH ANOTHER COMPANY for $1400 to ship his pick up truck. Even at THAT PRICE HE COULDN'T GET THE OTHER COMPANY TO FIND HIM A CARRIER. Once he was DOUBLE BOOKED, which means that Mr Ryder was NOW BIDDING AGAINST HIMSELF and jacking up his own price dramatically. Drivers see that and anyone willing to take his truck wanted the JACKED UP PRICE FROM THE OTHER COMPANY or more. WE DID FIND A CARRIER willing to come to Keene, NH to pick up the Ranger. We gave the Ryders the option of CANCELING THE ORDER FOR A FULL REFUND, however, the Ryders said to please ship their truck and seemed happy and then submitted a new shipping order reflecting the new amount to the carrier, not to us. OUR FEE TO FIND A CARRIER NEVER INCREASED. IT ALL WENT TO THE DRIVER ON DELIVERY OF THE TRUCK. The Ryders, were pleased, as their daughter had come back for July 4th holiday for a few weeks and Mr. Ryder said that it would be great for her to have her truck in NH while she was home. WE PROVIDED CARRIER FOR A DIFFICULT MOVE, WHICH NO OTHER COMPANY COULD PROVIDED. We left no stone unturned and made 25 or 30 calls to carriers asking them to transport for them. Despite the fact that we provided service that NO ONE ELSE COULD FIND FOR THEM, had wonderful communication and excellent customer service and worked our tails off to find them a carrier, after they double booked with another company that jacked up the price dramatically - instead of a thank you they chose to vent and complain and not give all the facts. It just a shame that they don't appreciate the amount of work that went in to their order to get this truck picked up under the conditions that the Ryders created. Shame on them. [ view ] |

| AAA ALL-STAR DISCOUNT AUTO TRANSPORTERS - Bait & Switch. Don't go for low price | | AAA ALL-STAR DISCOUNT AUTO TRANSPORTERS is a company I will never do business with again. Bottom line is they increased the price by $50 (originally tried for $75) after I sent in my $199 deposit based on a firm quote of $899. After 2 or 3 discussio... [ More ] | | THE CUSTOMER CHOSE TO CANCEL THE ORDER. THE CUSTOMER CHOSE TO GO TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY. THE CUSTOMER CHOSE TO PAY AN EXTRA $125 MORE THAN OUR CARRIER WAS CHARGING. We offered carrier to Russ East at best price in the industry, $ 750 COD, which carrier wanted. Carrier asked for $ 50 more. Russ East refused truck, and canceled driver and order. He then booked with another broker and paid $825 to the carrier. So he wound up paying $ 125 dollars more with the other carrier. Is this better? Of course not, but sometimes as much as we try to educate people they feel they would rather pay more money. With the economy in the state that it is, fewer trucks are out there, and just as many cars need to be shipped, carriers naturally want to get the best price out there so they can survive. Russ's wife wanted him to go with our carrier, with the best price, and she couldn't understand his actions either.
Bottom line, the additional $ 50 dollars the carrier wanted is still cheaper than the additional $ 125 he wound up paying. He wound up paying way more with the other carrier.

| Very Frustrating | | Short version: Use AAA All*Star Discount Auto Transporters if you like to be berated and hung up on and if you like to micromanage the process. Oh, and if you like the quote to go up after verbal assurances it won’t and after you’ve made ... [ More ] | | We have found that when a customer writes a 13 paragraph review complaining rather than thanking us for an excellent transport; there is usually much more serious issues going on in their life than a car transport. What Joe Brackman doesn't tell you is that he moved his shipping date 3 times; we did NOT charge him a re dispatch fee and worked on his order despite his verbal abuse each time he called the office angry about something. We gave him the best price in the industry saving him 300 to 400 hundred dollars over our competitors. The difference in price was due to Brackman changing the shipping date; he changed date from May to July; which is the peak of the shipping season. The difference goes to the carrier not to us. It is common knowledge that quotes can adjust in peak shipping season, like July. Still in the height of the season in July his car shipped for far less than other companies would have charged. Further, he writes in his review, and this is a direct quote from him- that he saved 100s of dollars going with AAA All Star, his car got there in great condition, and the pick up and delivery time was very short!!! But yet he is still not happy. Had we known what kind of mad man Joe Brackman was going to turn out to be, we wish he would have paid several hundred dollars more and went with another company as he wrote in his review. [ view ] |

| Dishonest | | I placed an order with this company on 05/10/11 and spoke with Paul Baldwin. He assured me my car would be picked up for shipping not later than 05/13/11. I called on that Saturday because I had not heard anything from a driver or anyone else at the ... Secondly, she is the one who is DISHONEST and not credible. It's not what she says that counts, it's what she doesn't say. Customer placed order requesting 5/13 for pick up. As it states in our shipping order form a requested pick up date is NEVER A GUARANTEED PICK UP DATE. A requested pick up date is the date the customer is telling us the car is ready for pick up. We tell customers we do our best to honor a request but it is NEVER A GUARANTEE. On Monday, 5/16 we had a carrier and called Teairrau Mason who had advised us she had paid another $ 500 to a trucker and had it picked up that morning on 5/16. We all use the same drivers and the same trucks. Obviously, when the same carrier sees the same car from the same place being double-booked, they of course, will go with the broker offering the ridiculously higher priced car.
Had Ms. Mason, patiently waited another few hours, she could have saved herself hundreds of dollars. Understandably, she is angry that she was bamboozled by another broker, getting her to pay much more for the same service on the same day that we had a carrier for her car to be picked up. [ view ] |

December 28, 2010 - Received $399.00 quote to transport my mothers car from Pasadena, MD to The Villages, FL. Carrier was a referral to my mother from a co-worke... [ More ] | | THIS REVIEW COULD NOT BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. If any one got swindled and stranded in this deal it was us!! As soon as we took the order to ship her car from Elizabeth Cochran (not Lola Palmer, we have no record of anyone with that name) who placed this order, we received a list of conditions a mile long, telling us exactly when the car needed to be specifically picked up AND delivered down to the hour of the plane coming in as she wanted to get off the plane and hop in her car. We told her if she wanted us to work around her specifications that would be an considered an expedited platinum order, - she told us to proceed with the order. In a few hours, once we had secured a driver, willing to go through all the hoops and conditions she had put forth, she said NO to the carrier, telling us she had made other arrangements!! We were the ones left swindled and stranded from Elizabeth Cochran who expected us to jump through her hoops and once we secured a carrier she told us, to forget it. When customers make shipping difficult and set up ridiculous demands we can only do so much to try to help them. The reason we were referred to Elizabeth Cochran's mother is because her friend was a very satisfied customer and happy to pass our name and number on as are all our customers. We ship a large volume of cars each and every week to many happy customers and none of them set crazy and unreasonable demands on us or our drivers. [ view ] |

| Never heard from the company | | I placed my order online on Oct. 25, 2010. On Oct. 28th I received an e-mail saying I would hear from them soon to arrange for shipping. I needed my SUV picked up on or before Dec. 7th. I was leaving that day for AZ. I started calling their # the... [ More ] | | This customer was dispatched on December 8th, the very next day and she refused the truck and driver. Debi Neuss double booked with another company and paid an upgraded platinum fee of $ 1500.00 to get her large SUV picked up on the Dec 7th. That is an additional $900 out of her pocket, rather than waiting one more day for our company. We spoke to the carrier that picked up her car and he would have picked it up for our rate the next day, if she had not double booked it and offered an additional $900 to the driver. Who would say no to an additional $ 900 ?? When a customer double books they are bidding against themselves and driving the price up. The only one that wins is the company that you doublebook with. A shipping date is a requested date, a shipping date is NEVER A GUARANTEE, we tell everyone this, it says it on our website and it states this in our shipping order that Nuess filled out herself and submitted!! Despite this, Debi Neuss, heard what she wanted to hear and although we spoke with her and explained this to her. When her car was not assigned on Dec 3th she booked it in with another company and doublebooked without telling us. The driver now had 2 different rates for the same car and took the one that was higher by $900. We spoke with her 4 times since the order was placed. Her large SUV was assigned for pick up on Dec. 8th and she refused the truck. If a customer is rigid and only has a one day pick up date, then an order must be set up that way and explained to us, so we can set it up as a expedited order. Debi Neuss never once said that Dec. 7th is the ONLY day she could get it picked up, when we contacted her she informed us that she had already had the car picked up by another company. In shipping flexibility is the key to getting the vehicle picked up. Especially when the vehicle is a large SUV, as this customer had. Communication is key, a customer must tell us exactly what there needs are so we can accommodate the request. In essence Debi Neuss, basically hung herself with her own neuss as it is obscene to pay and additional $900 to get her SUV picked up one day earlier. What we have learned from this experience is that when it positively, absolutely has to be picked up on a certain day, TELL US !! Just like in any relationship, communication is critical. [ view ] |

We dispatched today, 8/17/2010 to be picked up on the 18th as customer requested. This order was fully executed and ready for pick up tomorrow. We got this order out in record time, within one half of one day of customer placing order. Customer informed us that because other brokers were telling him horror stories of the shipping industry and frighting him he was running scared and wanted to cancel with us. We explained that we already found him a carrier, dispatched to a driver and the driver had scheduled to pick up the next day. Because it was already dispatched by us, and scheduled for pick up the next day he would lose his deposit if he canceled. He still insisted that he wanted to cancel.
