| Broke the contract | | All started out well. Great rep called and price was fair. Broker assigned a driver and this is where it fell apart. 1 hour before the driver was suppose to get the car, he called and said he needed to deliver the car 3 days earlier than the contract... On the morning of the scheduled pickup, the trucker had a problem and changed the timing of the delivery. Understandably, no-one was happy about this and we offered to reschedule the pickup with another trucker. Nancy refused and cancelled the pickup. LIARS CHEATS STEALING PEOPLES MONEY DO NOT USE [ View ] | | Jason Little signed a contract with Auto Transporters Online to ship his vehicle from NC to FL. Meagan explained the process to him and offered him four different service plans from an economy rate to through to an enclosed rate. He was told that the economy pickup time for the route he chose was approximately 1 to 8 days. He was also offered an expedited plan with a pickup window on that route of 1 to 2 days. He wanted the lowest rate and submitted the contract signed electronically to us. He confirmed with his signature and by checking the appropriate boxes that he had read and understood the terms and conditions of the agreement.
The relevant terms of the contract are included here for reference:
1.You irrevocably agree that if you cancel your order in less than 21 business days the full admin fee will have been earned and we will be entitled to charge the admin fee.
2. Please do not double book your shipping order with other companies while you have a contract with us. If another broker or trucking company not assigned by us to pickup your vehicle is listed on any trucker database as having your vehicle booked, we will automatically charge a non-refundable deposit (admin fee).
Mr Little contracted with another company while we were working on his contract and then cancelled our contract four (4) days after agreeing to work within our terms and conditions telling us that he found someone else to do the job. He reneged on his word to abide by the contract that he signed. We charged the deposit at that point as allowed by both of the relevant terms mentioned above.
Thereafter, he proceeded to defame our employees and our company with his ill advised and false statements in this “review”. He claims he never signed anything. We have his signed contract available for anyone to review. It is impossible for us to get an online contract from him without his electronic signature and his acknowledgement of his understanding of all the terms and conditions.

The customer discussed the move with a customer service person. The transport process was explained in great detail to her including the pickup and delivery time frames. The customer was explicit about the pickup details. She was told that the shipment would take from 3 to 5 days on the truck and that the pickup, delivery and transport times were estimates, and could not be guaranteed. The customer accepted this and submitted the contracts to ATO. At no time was the delivery date an issue. We would not have accepted the contract if it had been because no trucker is going to sit around waiting for the customer for a week. Our logistics people work according to the contractual requirements as agreed with the customer in writing. In addition, we always advise our customers to review our frequently asked questions on our web site to be fully informed.
Her first available pickup date was 6/22.
Our logistics people worked on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon to secure transportation for her vehicles.
On Sunday afternoon, we dispatched the vehicles for pickup on 6/22. We advised the driver to call the customer immediately to “make contact” and arrange the timing for the 22nd. The customer told the driver that her husband needed a vehicle on 6/22 so she could not release anything until 6/23. She also told him that no-one would be available to receive the vehicles and consequently refused the transport as contracted.
ATO did exactly what the customer contracted with us to do. Our logistics people worked on the weekend after hours to facilitate the customer’s requirements. Unfortunately, it seems that we were too efficient and as a result received this review.
