My car (Honda Civic) was shipped from East Lansing, MI to Davis, CA in less than 6 days. First, I requested a quote online and in a very short time Ali Miller called me to see if I was interested and to give me more details about the price. She was very nice and patient since the beginning because I had never shipped a car before and I wanted to know with details how the system worked. I chose the cheapest option which meant that they could be maximum 15 days in between I ordered the pick-up and when the car was actually picked up by the carrier. The carrier she found was about $100 more expensive, but I accepted it because they would pick it up and deliver it from door to door.
The car was picked up on a Friday, but dispatched by my roommate in Michigan because I was already in California. The driver, Alex, was very nice since the beginning. He would call me one day before the pick-up and delivery to set a time and verify the address where we would meet. Additionally, he called me about 30 min before arriving. Both of the times there was traffic jams from the city he was coming so he would arrive a little bit later than the time we set the day before, but he called me every time to let me know about the delay and traffic jams.
When my car arrived we checked the car together to verify it didn't have any damaged. It was in great condition, except that it was dirty and dusty which is understandable because it was an open carrier.
The day after the delivery Ali called me to verify that I got the car and to see how satisfy I was with the carrier.
I would definitely ship my car with AmeriFreight if I need to move again across the country, mostly because they have the best prices and the customer service is amazing, specially with Ali.
