I shipped a car from Washington state to Pennsylvania. This was the first time I ever attempted shipping a car and I don't know anyone who has done it either. So I was clueless going into the whole affair. After researching several companies, I chose AmeriFreight because of the reviews I had read and the BBB rating. I was still nervous about how things would go, but it turned out to be a great experience. My rep, Graham, was very courteous and put up with me changing the transport dates several times.
The carrier assigned to my car was Safe Transporters. The driver was fantastic, he was so nice every time I called or texted wanting information. He picked up the car at the exact time he said he would and it was loaded in probably 10 minutes. Same with the delivery.
The price was excellent too. Considering the horrible gas mileage my car gets, hotel costs, and wasted vacation days, shipping the car was way cheaper than driving it cross country.
I would recommend AmeriFreight for anyone needing a car shipped.
