Car was in Salt Lake City, needed to be shipped to Texas. Amerifreight arranged for Cowboy Transport to do the job.

Pick up in SLC was originally planned for the morning but ended up about 5:00 p.m., which was ok for me. Had to scout out meeting parking lot as driver selected a small grocery store off his gps that would not have worked due to narrow turns and low hanging arches into the lot. We met in a mall parking lot.

Picked up Friday night, August 30, and delivered Tuesday following Labor Day. I thought 4 days was good.

The car shipped is a convertible and apparently industry practice is to put convertibles on top. I read that I should have the car cleaned for transport so exterior inspection is easiest. I got it detailed. No body damage during transport.

One thing I did not anticipate was all the fine black dirt on the tan ragtop. It washed off ok, but probably would not have paid for detailing until after delivery if I had known how dirty the transport would be. Maybe dirt was from tractor exhaust?

I probably did not pay minimum price but didn't want to be penny wise and pound foolish. It worked out.
