While the entire process with shipping my Jeep J10 restoration project was successful and uneventful overall, there are a couple aspects of this industry (likely not just Amerifreight) that are disappointing and surprising at best. First, the collection of a deposit (despite having full credit card information) and the "discount for a review" process. If Amerifreight is as good as advertised, there should be no legitimate business reason to actually collect the deposit - they have the credit card anyway. I also find the process of discounting for or paying for a review is absolutely offensive.
Having said that, the actual work Brett (Amerifreight) completed to "contract" for the shipment was prompt, accurate, timely and forthright. To be clear (for those new to the shipping industry) Amerifreight is a broker only. On my shipment, the actual transport company was Wheeling Wheels and was reviewed separately.
Overall the shipment was relatively timely and uneventful. I would use Amerifreight again to broker a shipment.
