I used Amerifreight three years ago when our oldest was heading off to school :_( . They were terrific then, so I looked them up again and checked out their references and pricing since my last time; sure enough, they were still terrifically reviewed and very, very competitive (~$1,000 to LA from Chicago). I called them up and was put in touch with Bob, who coincidentally actually lives in the college town we were shipping our car to for our other child. Bob was terrific; he refreshed me on all the options and discussed with me our timing needs. He noted that we live in and are shipping to very hot markets, so he felt we didn't have to pay up for the most expensive timing to get the delivery window we sought. Sure enough, Bob was right; less than an hour after we talked, we have a driver lined up. We met him when he picked up the car and he promised to take good care of the car. Sure enough, just a five days later, my daughter saw him again in California and he car was well-cared for. We were so happy, we even gave him a nice tip.
Amerifrieght is a terrific company; they do what they do exceptionally well and are proud of it. You cant go wrong using them. They are professional and very, very competitive. Happy shipping!
