Picked up the slack on our first (and stressful) military move

It's stressful enough to have to move two people and two dogs almost 3,000 miles across the United States with only a months notice, and even more stressful to find out two weeks before you move that you have to find something to do with your car! Other transport companies were scolding me because "Everyone knows you should plan to move your car at least 45 days out!" Needless to say, these guys don't understand that we work around the Army's time table, not a shipping companies! Thankfully, when I got in contact with Bob Turner at Amerifreight, not only was he downright pleasant, but he was able to present multiple shipping options, all of which I DID NOT have to plan 45 days in advance. Bob explained the different tiers of service that Amerifreight provided, and because I was on a time crunch, (and coincidentally my mother needed access to a car while hers was in the shop at this same time) I went with the fastest, most expensive option. Mind you, other companies were offering to ship my car for the same price, but would have only been available to pick up my car while I was already on the other side of the country. Only Amerifreight gave me an option that was both quick and affordable. My car arrived to my mother in the same condition (if a bit dirty) in which it left. Bob or one of his associates was always available to answer and questions or concerns along the way. I would definitely recommend Amerifreight, and will use them for any vehicle shipping needs in the future!
