I contacted several freight companies to transport my Mercedes Benz. Amerifreight was the only company that gave me a full rundown of my options, including cost comparisons, and what to consider when choosing a company. They explained liability and concerns to consider when deciding on the transportation company. In cost comparisons, Amerifreight was very reasonable. I chose the cheapest package they had to offer, and was nervous at first. I chose an open trailer with a bottom and top load for hauling several cars at the same time. There are so many things that could go wrong during transport, hail storms, flying debris, and if the car was on the bottom track, oil leakage from above could happen.
But after speaking with Bob Turner, I felt confident that I had made a wise choice: lowest cost package and transport on the bottom rack. I spoke with Bob Turner a couple of times, answered a few questions and a proposal went out to the transport truckers. The car was picked up before the agreed upon date and arrived on-time to my given destination. This was all accomplished with maybe 3 phone calls. My Mercedes arrived in perfect condition!
