I contacted almost ten companies from TransportReview.com to ship my 1986 Toyota Tercel from San Diego to Arlington. I wanted a highly rated company, but also wanted the best available rate.
After receiving several quotes, I rec'd the best quote from AmeriFreight. Since I am so busy at work, I didn't have the time to go back/forth with some of the other companies. Many other companies spammed my in box and told me that the offer from AmeriFreight was too good to be true. After speaking with Graham- who promptly returned my emails- he told me that there are situations where some carriers are looking to fill up their truck, or they might get a last minute cancellation.
My interactions with Graham were prompt and efficient. I was in no hurry to ship my car- I was waiting for the best price. But less than a week from contacting Graham, I got a call telling me that he had found a shipper.
The shipper folks were soooooo nice. They called me to arrange the pick up time and allowed me to put a few items in my car, as well- which was great b/c we have a baby and some items are not so easy to pack up. The shipper was very on time for both pick up and delivery and communicated with me every step of the way. My car was delivered in great condition and all turned out well.
And, I was able to get the affordable rate. In the meantime, those other companies that I didn't choose are driving me nuts by spamming me with other emails and chasing me and leaving me so many emails and voice mails.
Not only was Graham at AmeriFrieght courteous and honest, he was professional and did not annoy me like the other companies representatives who were relentless. If you want best price, reliable car transport, and a professional experience, go with AmeriFreight.
