Credit Card Charged Car Not picked Up

AAA Anytime failed to pick up my car as promised. We prepared the car and stood by for three days ( Friday, Sauturday and Sunday) before calling them to see why the driver had not picked up the car. I was told on Monday when I called them, that the truck had broken down and they would pick up the car the next day. No driver ever called me. I had already told them that I could not be there on Tuesday because I was leaving town. They said the deposit could be used during the next year.

We disputed the matter through Discover Card who sided with AAA Anytime because their contract says the deposit is non-refundable. When we attempted to reschedule, we were told there would be an additional $300 charge. This is outrageous, Not only did they fail to perform as promised, they lied to Discover Card and now want to keep the deposit and charge even more!

I will file a small claims lawsuit in Las Vegas and report the progress here.

Also, the company told this web service that I was not their customer after I submitted a review last week. The site removed it. I have since provided the site with three documents that demontrate that AAA Anytime is, once again, lying. They caused the failure and now want more money to do what they promised in the first place.

It has been a horrible experience.
