They were not forthcoming with the information that they were a brokerage firm that would find me a carrier. They readily provided this information once I had made my deposit/called a a different day, however, at the first contact this info was omitted. The individual that omitted this info no longer works there.

I was surprised to find out that there is a chance your car will not get picked up, and if it doesn't, you may have to increase your cost to ship. This was terrifying, as I already had planned my cross-country move and needed my car picked up within the week/number of business days specified.

I called the guy handling my account at AmeriFreight and he "made some calls" to carriers and my car was subsequently picked up promptly. The company that picked up my car count not have been better. They were very conscientious my vehicle. My delivery was prompt after pickup.
