Extremely Unpleasant Experience

First, I was on a very popular transportation route - Boston to San Francisco. Second, I booked the transportation more than a month in advance. However, they were not able to find a carrier for me by my designated moving date. The worse thing is, they didn't give me any update. I had to call them every time to check the progress and they never called me. Every time I called, they always said "we are working on it". Not one word more. If they quoted me too low, they could just let me know and discuss all options. Or, they could give me a realistic expectation on when a carrier could be secured if not on my designated moving day. However, they offered none. They made my moving process unnecessarily stressful.

In my opinion, they were either too greedy or too incompetent. After I ditched them and contacted another agent, I was able to get my car on a carrier truck at the SAME DAY! And the transportation fee I paid to the driver was $200 less than what 1st choice had quoted me, which means 1st choice could pocket $200 for their commission, but...(see my opinion above)

Don't believe every word they might offer in the response to this review. Look at all the facts I put here and make your own decisions.
